The most beautiful ring made *for* me, *not by me*

Dréher and @shank_em_ designed this beautiful sapphire + salt n pepper diamond ring, engraved by @bee_per!!

I’m in love with it. The sapphire is so dark and rich, like a deep blue ocean or a clear sky at night. And the engraving on all sides 🤯 the details vine up the sides of the ring in such a natural way. I notice a different part of the engraving every time I stare too long… I’m obsessed.

Dréher proposed at one of our favorite spots, John Heinz wildlife refuge in Philadelphia. It’s the best place for bird and turtle watching! Perfect for us because it’s less than 20 min away and there’s enough nature to satisfy my nature itch.
You should go sometime! Maybe I’ll see you there 🙇🏻‍♀️

Anyway. Thank you for all the kind words, already. If you follow along on my personal ig, you probably already knew I got engaged.

All pieces have been donated for the raffle, so 100% of the proceeds will be split between the organizations. This raffle will be carried out in rounds, so if you do not win the first time, you will have another chance with new pieces! We will be announcing winners on Friday, June 20th.

@blmphilly The Philadelphia chapter of Black Lives Matter, a leading force in protests and community outreach. They have launched a number of initiatives including letter campaigns, Black Joy and Healing circles, vigils, and forums.
@bunnyhopphl The West Philly Bunnyhop has been mobilizing to serve free meals and essentials to our frontline workers and any people who are in need. Their goal is to make sure no one goes hungry during this time, and stand in solidarity as they feed our city through this revolution.
@blacktranstravelfund The Black Trans Travel Fund is a mutual-aid based organization committed to uplifting the narratives and supporting the livelihoods of Black trans women. They provide Black transgender women with the financial resources needed to be able to self-determine and access safer alternatives to travel, where women feel less likely to experience verbal harassment or physical harm. BTTF was created out of direct response to the relentless and unacceptable violence Black transgender women across the country have been continuously experiencing. They are currently providing their service to Black trans women in New York and New Jersey, and are working to expand to other states.

Hey buds! slow form story sale TODAY at 9:30am! 25% of proceeds will be donated to Philly's Project HOME, a non-profit whose number one goal is to break the cycle of homelessness and provide essential services for those in need.⁣

No one is unaffected by these current crazy times, and it has been a silver lining to see people and communities coming together to support and lift each other when it is needed most. While many of us in the creative fields are experiencing layoffs and trying to make ends meet, ⁣
a lot of us have the privilege, resources, and community to stay afloat, whereas those in more vulnerable communities may not. The population of people experiencing homelessness are at a heightened risk of contracting Covid-19, and many lack basic resources, such as shelter, healthcare, disinfectants, etc. ⁣
