Tires are expensive. - Aight.
Don’t get too much curb on turn 1. - Bet.

Thanks @samdraissmedia good catch!

Moments like these don’t come around often.

As usual, beautifully captured by @windshadowstudios.

Been buried at work lately, but all the Gridlife photos and footage have me itching to get back out there… so here’s a little recap.

Took @slowe92m3 out of hibernation after being a garage queen for almost nine months just for @hookedondrivingne’s annual @starsstripesandspeed event at WGI.

Pulled the rear subframe, replaced the snapped sway bar, serviced the brakes, changed just about every fluid, did an alignment, and reinstalled the freshly refinished @zebulon_motorsport aero… all within 24 hours. Another @gear.247 miracle (or more realistically, @yolo_f22 miracle😂).

The car was flawless for all three days—lap after lap without a single issue. Was off pace by quite some over the weekend and didn’t really put down any significant lap time since the only tires I had were some 2024 Supercar 3 scrubs. Best lap was a 2:03, but thanks to @echowhiskey17 we came away with a ton of useful data on tire temps, pressures, and damper changes. Now it’s time to study.

Honestly… I have no idea what the next chapter is for this car—or even when it’ll be back on track. Maybe I could use some advice from you folks?

Hey @subaru_usa — it’s 2026, and yes, it’s real.

We finally got the chance to install the @formula.delta oil pan on the shop BR86. Fitment was extremely tight with the JDL 4-2-1 header, and we ended up replacing the Cusco engine mounts with Perrin engine mounts to make everything work properly.

Huge thanks to @project_grip for the generous info and guidance.

Weather wasn’t perfect on test day, but the improvement was already clear — especially through the high-G corners. Oil pressure stayed consistently above 65 psi on Vitour P1 tires, which is a big step in the right direction.

Looking forward to seeing how it performs when we can really go full send.

Until then, we keep pushing.

It’s Sunday… I took @slowe92m3 out, rinsed it, and parked it back.
Comeback.. when?

A 🥵 shakedown at @nasa_ne Lightning with @stevejin behind the wheel of the shop BR86.

Learning this platform/chassis has been fun, challenging, and honestly not quite rewarding yet 😅

We went through a bunch of upgrades over the winter, and apparently we still need a lot more time to dial everything in before all the pieces properly work together. Some parts have been working flawlessly, some might be a little overkill — but that’s part of development.

We’ll keep testing, learning, and pushing this thing forward.

Stay tuned for more behind the scenes!

Year 8 of getting into this financially unreasonable, time-consuming, childish — but somehow still the most fun — sport.

Here we go: track car number 4. One is gone, three are still here… FML.
And this one was definitely unexpected: Spec E46.

My first wheel-to-wheel race car.

To be honest, I’m not even sure if I’m fully ready for it. This car is nothing like anything I’ve owned or driven on track before. It’s brutally honest — balanced, simple, organic, wild — and it exposes every weakness you didn’t even know you had.

After two shakedown days, I’m enjoying every second of learning it, exploring it, and pushing it step by step.

It’s always fun and challenging to step outside your comfort zone, but most of the time, that’s the only way to grow. I’ve won some and lost some, but I’ll never settle for “good enough.”

Huge thank you to @andyman746 for such a generous deal, and most importantly to my good friend, partner, 형, and mentor @stevejin for taking such great care of the car over the past year and walking me through the whole thing.

Honestly, I have no idea when or where my first race will be with the busy schedule and conflicts, but for now, I’m just trying my best to improve, adapt to the car as a driver, and grow it as a team. @gear.247 @yolo_f22 @stevejin

Couple things unexpected-
I made it to VIR, in @gear.247 shop BRZ, 2025. It’s 22F in the morning.
But I feel it, humbly. Heaven on the earth. Especially with a couple Italian race car by the side going through uphill esses LOL.
I’m holding my breath every lap, brutally honest.
It’s a blast, thanks @hookedondrivingma for the hospitality.
Until next time.
