Best of luck to the students of LSAD with their degree show tomorrow!!! Here are some behind the scenes of my own from last year and some honourable mentions. I can’t believe it’s already been a year since completing my largest body of work. I miss the buzz of getting everything together and celebrating with everyone I had met over the years. LSAD was a challenging but rewarding experience. I miss everyone and their ideas. Especially at the time of our degree show, it was such an inspirational space. Wishing the soon to be graduates best of luck in their future and also to my peers, we still got this 🫶🏻🫡❤️

Over the past few months ‘Miss Lust Garden’ has been traveling around to some festivals in Ireland, festivals like @epfestival and @fuinneamh_festival. Thanks to everyone involved in making this dream a possibility for me. I hope the work brought joy and comfort to people as it has done for me. Excited for what’s next….

👏👏👏

Ciara Sheehan is a 22-year-old artist from County Kerry and is currently based in Limerick. She works with diverse media, including sculpture, ceramics, metal, textiles, sound and digital drawing. Her work draws influence from Celtic mythology and contemporary feminist discourse and her own lived experiences. Ciara’s immersive dream-like installation is a form of carnivalesque storytelling, re-imagining and deconstructing familiar folktales. Through these fantasy sculptures, Ciara presents a joyful celebration of feminist identity and the process of making—while acknowledging the contradictory qualities that often accompany these experiences. #wearetus #LSAD #GraduateAward#ciarasheehan #EmergingArtist #irishart photos by @paulmaccarthaigh
