>> BIG CHANGES >>

April of this year we passed the “baton” (keys) to the camper AND 6-door truck. Our entire set up is in the loving ownership of a new family, who also has five children and also loves to ADVENTURE!

We’ve been HOME for two years (this November). We’ve experienced way too many changes ~ enough to feel uncomfortable. Some have been more tangible: like moving into a sticks and bricks and very little traveling. And some not so tangible, but I’ve felt deep down in my heart and bones: all my people aren’t all in the same place at the same time << those seem to be felt on a deeper level and hurt a little more!

It took us about a year of being home to even consider the idea of selling our camper (truck still not in the conversation). We sent the camper away to have some warranty work done and they required us to MOVE OUT … once we *finally* got it back it seemed like a daunting idea to pack it all back in and take it for a trip >> so we never did!

I had frequent QUIET coffee dates to the camper where I would find solitude in the simplicity OR it acted as an occasional mother in law suite. Other than that <<< both the camper and truck were staring at us, serving no purpose! One night I gathered the courage to *offer* my HOME to David to do with it as he saw best! (I may or may not have ugly cried as if a part of me was dying! 🫣)

We posted the rig (not the truck) on RV trader to see if anyone would be interested. We got a few hits! But fast forward a few months and David entertained the idea of adding the truck >> a PACKAGE deal! I mean, they were designed to go together!

Obviously you know how this story ended, but there are a lot more details that got us to April of 2024 …
I will continue to tell the story and the little details that connected us to this family and got us to where we are today. There are still some very BIG deep in my bones discomforts, but it’s also very evident to me that God was AND is in the DETAILS!

the rest of the story … to be continued!
