14/02/25 - Charles Jones at the O2 Shephards Bush Empire, London.
Third warm-up act for Ben Barnes.
If you ever get a chance to see or even meet Charles Jones, he is one of the loveliest and most talented human beings i've had the pleasure of meeting. A contagious smile that made my night.

First warm-up act for Ben Barnes.
Not only a phenomenal solo artist but a mean bass player as well.

Thank you @benbarnes and @p_hammy_hamilton , for not only putting on a great show but, for letting me have the opportunity to take some photos in the pit. It was truly a fun and one of a kind experience for me, and I'm honoured.
Everyone was so kind and lovely from the venue staff to fellow photographers.
Now, I have a lot of photos that I'm trying to split into groups.

Happy nine years of our crows 🖤

Coming up with words to express my love for these books is nearly impossible. How do I describe the story and characters that made me believe in the magic of reading again? I’ve found a little piece of myself in every character, and in their struggles and stories. In the cultures and histories portrayed throughout the grishaverse. No matter how much I read, I don’t think any story will hold the same place in my heart as Six of Crows does ✨

So I’m still feeling very overwhelmed, but I finally got the chance to meet @lbardugo and it was just pure magic!

From getting to hear her talk about The Familiar (which I’m now DYING to start reading!), to having one of my questions read out and being very panicked when I heard my name, to Leigh herself asking for a picture of my Wylan cosplay?? It was the most incredible evening, and I couldn’t be happier.

On top of that, I met some absolutely fantastic people!! Old friends and new, it was so lovely to be around so many like-minded Grishaverse fans!

(Also to anyone who came over to say hi or ask for a picture with my Wylan, thank you so much? You have no idea how happy it makes me every single time, I’ll forever appreciate all of the love and kindness I’ve received ♥️🧪)

Okay I’ll stop being sappy now! And with that… GO AND READ THE FAMILIAR! ♥️✌️

and just like that, i’ve officially been running brekkerbybrekker for two years! 🖤✨🥹 i’ll never forget how i had been thinking about creating a grishaverse fan account for a while, when the interview with freddy dropped where he & kit said “brekker by brekker.” i swear to god i have never created an instagram account so fast in my entire life- i NEEDED to secure that username! two years and 7,700 followers later, i can truly say that was one of the best decisions i ever made. i’ve mentioned this before, but i felt so utterly alone during the release of s1. while i’d read the books back in 2020, i didn’t know anyone else who had, and had nobody to fangirl with for anything. running this fan account as well as my tiktok has brought the absolutely best community of grishaverse fans that have made my heart so so full. everyday i look forward to posting my silly little memes and reactions and tiktoks and i’m thrilled that so many of you enjoy them as well! running this account has also built up my self esteem & confidence- i tried cosplay for the first time, i’ve gotten more comfortable in front of a camera and filming content, and (unfortunately) practice dealing with negativity and hatred. i cannot thank you all enough for following along & sharing the love of the grishaverse with me- i know to some this may just be a fandom, but y’all are my family. for real. to everyone who’s ever sent me a dm, commented on a post, whether you’ve been here for two days or two years- i love you & i appreciate you endlessly. here’s to more years (and more grishaverse!) no mourners, xoxo, hope <3
i’m tagging some of the best friends and role models that i’ve found through this account. you all mean more to me than you know and i love you all dearly! • @lbardugo
