Join the Boonton Green Team and experienced local field naturalist Michael Leone for a morning outdoors to learn about the wonders of our winter ecosystem. We will identify trees, animals, and plants alike. Please bring sturdy shoes, water, and binoculars if you have them. 🦉

📍We will meet at the entrance to the Wildflower Trail at Tourne Park at 9 AM sharp.

Address: 48 McCaffrey Lane, Boonton, NJ 07005

To get to find the trail:
Drive into the park from McCaffrey Lane past the main parking lot on your right. The entrance to the trail is on the right, about 500 feet down, on the left, and has a few parking spaces. Alternate parking is available at the pavilion, about 200 feet past the trail on the left.

Free event!

One of my absolute favorite nights of the year!

The Trick-or-Treat Trail hosted by @boontonrec, Boonton PBA 212, and the @boontonfd is always one of my favorite traditions. It was cold, and we went through A LOT of candy, but this event officially kicks off the holiday season for me, and I look forward to it every year!

I also got to spend the night with some of the BEST people who go above and beyond for our town. I’m so grateful to be surrounded by such an incredible crew who show up, give back, and make Boonton such a special place to call home.

Nothing beats community, a little Halloween magic, and good people coming together for our town!

Next up Hainted Trail! October 24!

Hey neighbors! After Halloween, please consider donating your unpainted, untreated pumpkins to a good cause 🎃!

Our friends at Brookhollow’s Barnyard will use them to feed the animals🐷🐓 and make compost!

From Nov. 2-16th, you can drop off your pumpkins at the Town’s DPW yard:

Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Need assistance? Message us, and we can help!

Let’s keep our pumpkins out of the landfills and use them for a great cause. 🎃
