Last week the fam turned UP & showed the BK waterfront how it’s done. My first show back after 18 months was SURREAL … I didn’t know how to feel or wrap my head around the middle of something both so familiar + so different.⁣

And I’m starting to get it: ⁣
⁣
The community + the city are ALIVE. Things will never be the same. & this is EXCITING cuz WE ALREADY DID THAT. We did it gooood for 7 years. ⁣
⁣
NOW WE’RE BUILDING A NEW ERA + A NEW CULTURE. WE ARE FINDING OUR WAY FORWARD TOGETHER. ⁣

We’ll try out different formats + venues in the coming months. While the weather holds, we’re taking advantage of fresh air + autumn nights cuz those headphones BUMP + getting down outside is flippin magic ❤️‍🔥⁣

Burning Man is a special vortex created by a community of people with the intention of making magic based on the philosophy of the 10 Principles. That magic is magnified to make our wildest dreams our reality. This year’s renegade burn was the best burn I’ve experienced in the past 14 years. It was different in many ways with no BM org, and it will never happen again.

I spent 9 days on the playa to see what would happen in this massive social experiment without infrastructure or many rules. What we experienced were timeless moments filled with pure love, connection with my parents and dear friends new and old, laughter, dancing through dawn, beautiful weird randomness, life lessons, brilliant adventures, and endless joy. I left dusty and exhausted with tears of gratitude and love for this gift. I feel SO ALIVE!

My greatest gems I experienced this year that I will continue to integrate:
1. How loved I am and how much love I have to give ❤️ The playa reminds me how magnificent and radiant I am as my authentic and true self. We are each perfect just the way we are.
2. How much I love people when I'm not trying to create an outcome 🙏🏼 When I’m fully present in the moment, I’m able to experience the potency of pure connection. The playa offers me a beautiful opportunity to experience divineness when I release the attachment to “doing”, outcome, or strategy. This form of surrender is pure fulfillment and happiness.
3. Many of the stories I tell myself are not true and have no basis in reality 💩 When I let go of that attachment, I allow the universe to work for me in magical ways and manifest my dreams into reality.

Endless gratitude to everyone who contributed this year to make it happen. Looking forward to continuing to live the burn year-round and experience whatever will be next year on the playa with you 🔥

There’s nothing quite like it, and with this one, there may never be again. The ease, the freedom, the openness. No fences (expect our trash fence installation), not many restrictions, so much freedom. So much emotion flowing every waking minute of every day. This one was grounding. This one was pure love, connection, and endless laughter. The soul needed it. Every year out there I go in with no expectations, but after this past year and a half I was looking forward to being with incredible people. Connecting deeper with our playa family, friends old and new, was my favorite part of this year. The laughs, the cuddle puddles, the energy all received top marks. Thank you to everyone who was a part of it. When people ask me why I do this every year, this is why, and this one was one of the best I have had. Big love to my brother Nash for being one of the greatest humans I’ve ever met, there was no one else I could have done that with the way we did. You’re a perfect 10 brother. And to our deep deep Fam out there this year, @katymaybreathes @tisse @barneybroomfield @ianqrowan @hellobrandom wow wow wow. Was an honor to be with you and go so deep with so much love and laughs, you all have a deep place in my heart. A special thank you to my life line, my angel, @kennedy_vandyke for letting me go to experience it. For the first time in a decade I was out there without her, which was surreal. Thank you, thank you. I love you. #industwetrust
