Embracing a New Direction🤍

I’ve always felt the urge to do something whenever my country or its people face difficult times. But this experience made me realize how much more we can achieve when we come together with like-minded people than doing just individually.

Although I had joined Rotary and had the opportunity, in my very early days, to serve as a joint coordinator for this meaningful humanitarian initiative supporting Nepal’s flood-affected communities. Through a month-long effort, we collected a substantial volume of essential medical supplies and emergency materials and handed them over to the Armed Police Force (APF) Nepal ,last week, whose teams continue to support affected communities on the ground itself, playing an important role in the ongoing response to this crisis.

Special thanks to the SmartAid Australia family for making this effort truly possible. My heartfelt gratitude goes to you and to the Rotary Club, The APF and DHL teams, and everyone who contributed to and supported this initiative, helping ensure its smooth and timely completion.

Grateful to God for the purpose, the people, and the path He continues to guide me toward. 🙏

We are deeply moved to share that our donated medical equipment and supplies have safely arrived in Nepal🇳🇵

Following the devastating landslides and floods, countless people are facing unimaginable loss, uncertainty, and hardship. Today, these essential supplies have been handed over and will soon reach those who need them most—bringing not only vital healthcare support, but also a message of compassion, solidarity, and hope.

Behind every box is the generosity of our donors, the dedication of everyone who helped make this project possible, and the belief that no community should have to face a crisis alone.

Our thoughts and hearts are with the people of Nepal as they face these challenging times. We hope these supplies bring comfort, support, and strength to the communities working courageously to recover . 🇳🇵 💚

Our heartfelt thank you once again to SmartAid @smartaidint , DHL Global @dhl_global , and DHL Australia @dhlexpressau for helping make this life-changing effort possible. We are honoured to stand alongside you in supporting the people of Nepal during this incredibly difficult time.🙏🙏🙏💚💚💚

When catastrophic floods devastated Nepal, our hearts broke seeing medical clinics and the AFP local hospital in Balambu, stripped of basic supplies, leaving so many vulnerable families and all the healthcare workers in desperate need. We couldn’t just stand by.
From Sydney, @smartaidint rallied alongside our extraordinary partners to send nearly two tonnes of life-saving relief across the globe to Nepal. This mission took a village, and we are forever moved by the devotion of everyone involved:
❤️ @med_earth supplied vital medical gear and mobility tools to give overwhelmed clinics their strength back.
👶 @cuddlebundlesoz wrapped displaced mothers and newborns in love with essential and urgently needed mums and babies care packages.
🚑 @stjohnnsw rallied our local supply chain and donated thousands items for first aid kits.
✈️ @dhlexpressau
@dhlexpress flew almost two tonnes of urgent aid straight to AFP hospital, when every single minute mattered and flew solar lights donated by @solarbuddy_global from China to meet our shipment in Nepal all perfectly co-ordinated - logistics done. Thank you @leehorling @stu.cobb 🙏🏻✈️
Together, we’re not just sending supplies; we’re sending hope. Please share this story to help us honor these incredible teams and show what pure human kindness can do. @andrinagrynberg

💚 Another meaningful partnership with SmartAid @smartaidint & DHL @dhlexpressau 💚

This time, we rolled up our sleeves and came together to support communities in Nepal following the devastating landslides.

Together, we packed more than 300 kg of essential medical supplies and equipment to help hospitals care for people affected by this disaster. 🙏🇳🇵

As always, it was a privilege to work alongside SmartAid and DHL, bringing together resources, time and compassion to make sure these much-needed items reach those who need them most.

A huge shout-out to our amazing donors who make this work possible:

💚 GOMED Victoria — ambulance stretchers & bags
💚 Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick — respiratory humidifiers
💚 2nd Life @2ndlifegroup & Wolper Jewish Hospital @wolperjewishhospital — walking frames, shower seats & wheelchairs
💚 Brady Australia @brady_aus — first aid kit bags
💚 East Sydney Private Hospital — kidney dishes
💚 Children’s Hospital Randwick Physiotherapy — moon boots, knee braces & clubfoot bars
💚 United Airlines Sydney — blood pressure monitors, stethoscopes & pocket resuscitators
💚 And many more generous supporters

Every donation, every helping hand and every partnership makes a difference.

We always say that our mission would not be possible without your support — and once again, you’ve shown us just how true that is.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for helping us turn generosity into practical support for people in need. 🙏💚

Together, we can make a difference. 🌏💚

After weeks of endless coordination, late nights, and nonstop logistics… JUST LIKE THAT, the DHL trucks have been loaded and all the shipments around the globe are on the way! This one is from Sydney!

Watching the DHL truck pull away with every single pallet bound for Venezuela was a moment I’ll feel in my chest for a long time.

When a crisis hits, hope isn’t just a feeling, it’s what you do! it’s action! It’s hands-on, exhausting and also very rewarding work. I never ever stop getting excited every time I see a DHL truck filled with aid!

Behind every single box we packed, is a person who needs to know they haven’t been forgotten.

Behind the pallets shipped is a lifeline of vital medical supplies, wheelchairs, crutches and more relief items for the more than 18,000 displaced people many needing medical help.. and many of the children and young people are amputees. The stories are horrific and anything we do is better than not doing anything!!!

This mission only exists because people cared enough to step up.

To our incredible partners at @dhlexpressau @dhlexpress global, DHL here in AUSTRALIA, @med_earth (this shipment) and @cuddlebundlesoz Cuddle Bundles (this shipment) and to every single volunteer who showed up to help, rolled up their sleeves, and poured their hearts and energy into this … thank you 🙏

This is what real community looks like. We’re not just sending aid across the world; we’re sending love, solidarity, and hope.

AND YES there is much more aid on the way! ...including #Starlinks to help with telecommunications

This is just one of the many shipments that we have just packed up . This one in MedEarth warehouse in Sydney…

Seperately to this shipment in Sydney we have shipments that the DHL team have picked up from Brazil: medical supplies, USA : Solar lights from @solarbuddy_global, water purification filters from @LIFTINGHANDS and hundreds more solar lights from Singapore, all bound for the displaced victims that are doing it really tough in Venezuela.

Onward to Venezuela. 🇻🇪❤️✨

Behind every rescue mission
are those who have seen almost everything,
yet still choose to answer the call, time and time again.

For 13 days, I had the privilege of documenting the people who dedicate themselves to this mission.

Not only during the mission itself,
but also in the moments in between.

Moments of focus.
Of exhaustion.
A quiet smile at the end of a long day.
And a silence that words could never fully capture.
