Atentamente, Antonio García Superintendente Distrito Escolar Conjunto de Preparatorias de Santa María @maribel_aguilera_4_supervisor @alice_patino_525 THIS WHAT YALL WANT??

The wealthy interests that I have been talking about are donating huge amounts of money to attack our campaign for working class representation on the SBC Board of Supervisors. Sable Energy, the same oil company that has polluted our local beaches, donated $60,000 to the Santa Barbara County Republican Party, which are supporting my opponent and the opponents of other local Dem-endorsed candidates @smcmsoto and @celest4district1. Let’s not let oil money pollute our local politics, vote Valencia for Supervisor! #santamariacalifornia #guadalupe #santabarbaracounty #805 #santamariavalley

A Message from Your Santa Maria Firefighters Regarding Measure C By now, many Santa Maria residents have received our mailer regarding Measure C. We want to provide some additional perspective on what this measure means for our firefighters, city employees, and the community we serve. While much of the public messaging surrounding Measure C has focused on maintaining existing services, the reality behind the scenes tells a more complicated story. Within the Fire Department, critical needs such as promotions, hiring for vacant daily minimum staffing personnel, and expanding fire stations have been delayed or placed on hold pending the outcome of Measure C. These are important investments in the future of emergency services, and their continued delay has real consequences. What is also clear is that the financial challenges facing Santa Maria extend far beyond the Fire Department. Regardless of how individual departments are portrayed in campaign messaging, city services and employees are interconnected. Cuts to one department inevitably affect the ability of others to serve our community effectively. We recognize that public safety is a priority for our residents, but we also recognize that firefighters cannot operate independently of the other essential city services that keep Santa Maria running. We fully expect the Fire Department to continue to feel the impacts of the City’s financial challenges, just as other departments will. Our support for Measure C should not be mistaken for an endorsement of every financial decision made at City Hall. We believe residents deserve transparency, accountability, and an honest understanding of what’s at stake. Ultimately, this is about more than protecting firefighters. It’s about protecting the services our entire community depends on. Santa Maria deserves a financially stable city government that can deliver the services residents expect and deserve. Santa Maria Firefighters Local 2020 Vote YES on Measure C — November 3. @maribel_aguilera_4_supervisor @cityofsantamariaca @gloriaflorescitycouncil_ @santamariachamber @smpd_poa @cafirefighters @iaff_team10th @iaffofficial
