261/365: what growing up together looks like in hairvolution 🥹✨
fb reminded me the other day on sept 10 2017, @smxne got her first head of pink hair and i got my grey bob… 9 years later on this exact day, Seems and i came back together to @chosm_tedng — call it coincidence or fate but it was always meant to be 🎆 It was such a moment to sit in the salon chair and just see how much we’ve all grown; I’m so proud of and thankful for these ladies~

thank you ah ted, @_chosmhair_ , @chosm_jeslyntan for making me look so good + understanding me well to know it’s time to embrace the wild side (again). i love going to yall and now with Seems, it feels complete ♥️

Chapter 6 “sweet tooth” out everywhere ⋆.𐙚 ̊🍮🥄 ༘⊹ ࣪ ˖

we’ve reached the mid point of the album — the hump, and the first real turning point.
i wrote sweet tooth while i was getting to know someone new. for the first time in a while, something felt light again. it was exciting, playful and full of possibility. like maybe i was finally ready to leave the past where it belonged and let myself enjoy what was in front of me.

at the time, i genuinely thought i had healed enough to begin again. it was only later that i realised feeling ready didn’t necessarily mean i had confronted everything i was still carrying.

so while sweet tooth feels like the light finally entering the album, it’s still a fragile(maybe even naive) kind of hope. sweet, bright and unaware of the cracks that would eventually begin to show ( i cant wait to share more).

What does it mean to *actually* feel connected?

I spend half my waking life on my phone. More connected than any generation in history, and I have never felt more alone. So I booked a hotel for 3 days with no plans, just strangers, and one honest question.

I even ended up walking up to strangers (a cute father and daughter duo!) to pass them a drawing I secretly did of them. That moment alone taught me something I wasn’t ready for...
