Toast to the end of the fest at this year's DENOUEMENT "FRONT LAWN" HAPPY HOURS!

Masonic Lodge, Sunday, Oct 25th, 12:30-2:30pm

We're hosting not one, but two happy hours this year at a new location alongside a couple friends! Take a break between films and enjoy a beverage at the @johnsgrocery beverage tent, purchase some delicious food from @snacky_mini_mart, step into the lower level of the Masonic and check out this year's Revision installation, reflect on what you’ve seen and done all weekend and what your final fest plans are!

Open to the public. Free drinks for passholders. Rain or shine, we'll see you there!

This past year has been one of change, transition, and deep emotions. Losing my father, sending my daughter off to college, and navigating new chapters have left me feeling at times untethered and unsure of my place in the world.

And yet… in the midst of it all, there have been moments of deep beauty that I will always carry with me. Visiting a new country and all the wonder and excitement that comes with it, dancing barefoot at a wedding on an island off Cartagena, my heart full watching two dear friends promise forever. Various (and sometimes random 😆) meetings with my bar friends, long conversations that stretched late into the night, reminding me of the gift of true connection. Hanging out with my (not so) small people. Cooking and feeding others, some of my favorite pastimes - knowing these ordinary moments are the extraordinary ones. The simple joy of discovering new places, tastes, and views that made me feel alive again.

I am always grateful for my bar industry family—this global community that has lifted and inspired me over so many years. My birthday present to myself this year? A trip to Hong Kong next month to reconnect, celebrate, and raise a glass together. 🍸✨

As I step into 56, I am choosing to hold on to those sparks. To the people who show up, the memories that lift me, and the reminder that beauty and love are still here—always. 💜
