Coops APL Nationals recap 😤

The goal for the day was simply to podium, but unfortunately missing his third attempt squat left us with a little too much ground to make up come deadlifts

Regardless, it was such a fun comp and I’m really proud of how the big man competed on the day

He went 7/9, narrowly missing his 265kg third attempt squat and a huge 312.5kg third attempt deadlift to try and lock in that spot on the podium

Squat - 250kg (equal PB)
Bench - 170kg (equal PB)
Deadlift - 290kg
Total - 710kg

Coops did all this while coaching @snake11331 in the same flight and same weight class as himself to take out first place. Proud of you brother 🤝

The whole point of a peak is to be able jam unfathomable amounts of smelling salts up your nose…. 😂

Lots of muscle mass gained along the way 108-110 bw to 115-116kg bw. Been an absolute honour to coach, looking forward to many more 300 wins over the next couple years !!!
