“Our video is gonna be so boring.”
No, it’s not. 🥹🤍

From high school sweethearts to finding their happily ever after, Kelly & Shaun remind us that a love story doesn’t need grand gestures to be beautiful. Sometimes, all it takes is growing up together, believing in each other, and realising that the perfect life you once dreamed of is already right there beside you.

A village of people coming together to make one beautiful day possible. 🤍

Because weddings are never a one-man show — it takes a whole team, countless moving parts, and a whole lot of teamwork behind the scenes.

At the end of the day, we’re all working, hustling and striving towards the same thing: seeing our happy couples happy. 🥹✨

It truly takes a village. And I’m grateful for mine. 🫶🏻

The most effortless evenings are rarely effortless at all.

In many ways, the work of a planner is to disappear.

Not from the celebration, but from the feeling of it.

Months of conversations. Hundreds of decisions. Things remembered without needing to be asked twice. The preferences spoken aloud, and the quieter ones we come to understand simply by knowing our couples over time.

All of it, eventually, should feel like none of it was planned at all.

For Sharon & Braden, we knew their welcome dinner needed to feel romantic without being precious; intimate, a little raw, and gently nostalgic.

Together with the creative hands around us, we shaped the evening around the character of Peninsula House. Foliage sat a little wild against its industrial bones. Sheer fabric softened the room, photographs hung almost as memories do, and the light stayed low.

Then came everything that could never be planned quite so precisely: speeches that lingered, old stories resurfacing, glasses raised, games, laughter, and the particular warmth of having so many chapters of a life gathered beneath one roof.

Perhaps this is the quieter privilege of being a planner. To listen closely enough to hold hundreds of details on someone else’s behalf, then gently place them where they belong.

Because when enough thought has gone into an evening, thought itself becomes invisible.

What remains is something far simpler: the sense that, for a few hours, everything was exactly as it ought to be.
