Apparently high ponytails are back in style and I’m most excited about it! Although I’m not sure when they ever went out of style?! 🤔 While Channel Bay is mostly a styling page, lately I have had a lot of other things on my mind and plate. And since this is also a space to inspire, encourage and motivate I thought I’d start with this:
I see a lot of people in search of success and talk about their dreams but are afraid of stepping out of their comfort zone. Or they try to force, manipulate and use people to get ahead. My friend, here’s the thing: being successful doesn’t mean you have to have all the answers, be perfect or misuse people in the name of “networking”. Successful people aren’t just born. Successful people are just like you and I. They keep trying, they are not afraid of looking stupid, of making mistakes and keep trying again. They just simply do not quit. They show up, do the work behind the scenes even when no one is watching and figure it out as they go. The only question you should be asking yourself is “am I willing to show up and do the work most people won’t to live the life I always dreamed of? Am I willing to stay the course, trust the process and persevere to see my dreams come true?” 🙋🏽‍♀️ Is that encouraging? I hope this serves as your weekend reminder to keep going after your dreams relentlessly while still being patient with yourself. You’ve got this and I’m rooting for you! 😘

Working closely in the world of beauty as of late, I have heard a lot of questions and concerns from women of all ages. A question I often get asked by my beauty and styling clients alike is, what do you do to get clear, healthy looking glowing skin? While I often smirk and say good genes, it is not the whole story 👇🏽⠀
⠀
⠀
Beautiful skin requires commitment and having an excellent skin care routine trumps even the best make-up products money can buy. In short my answer to this question is always: A good skincare routine is the secret to flawless skin and beautiful make-up 👌🏽 When I first started delving into make-up artistry, it became apparent that good skin-care was the name of the game and it is what I always suggest to my clients. While make-up can be used as a cover up, it is not merely supposed to hide your flaws but to accentuate and reveal your true beauty. And my friend, this is where a good skincare routine comes in handy. Follow me on my stories as I share some of my own struggles and my knowledge on skincare and my new favourite skincare products this month! ⠀

What's one surprising thing about you that most people may not know? After a busy and hectic couple of days, here is my plan for the weekend: to be as useless as the ‘g’ in lasagne 😅😏 #restday What do your weekend plans look like?
Also, finally gave into the pearl hair clip trend and I must say I am digging it 😍 How about you? Pearl clip, yay or nay?

I believe that the most beautiful things in life are often the simplest, don't you agree? That’s why on World Smile Day, I take it very seriously to spread kindness and encouragement. You never know what people are going through or who needs a pick me up or how a few well wishes can turn around someone’s day! I’m pretty sure we’ve found the path to World Peace 🤔 How are you spreading the love this World Smile Day? 💛✨⠀

I know we talk a lot about what you get when you work with me, but what about when you DON’T let me help you find your personal style and organize/maximize your closet? I mean sure, you may do it yourself and Google into oblivion but this would cost you tons of time, not to mention unnecessary stress and worry! I know you have a lot on your plate and are busy with #allthethings, so for this month only and in the spirit of Fall, you can book a free 30 minute consultation with me starting today! Simply head to the website or send me a DM and get started today ♥️
