🌲 JAY PEAK, VERMONT - MARCH 2026 🏂 ”You need to see it to believe it.” Jay Peak last weekend delivered a classic late-season mix: strong base, winter leftovers, and the first real hints of spring riding coming into play. With ~60 inches of snow in the previous two weeks and 300+ inches on the season, coverage across the mountain was in great shape. For snowboarders, that meant confidence to ride fast, explore side hits, and link turns with some hints in areas of the ice in the base showing. Jay Peak proved once again that even in late March, you can still find high-quality riding across the whole mountain - not just in the glades (which it’s known for). The perfect Bermuda getaway! Vertical drop of 2,153 feet. Only a 2 hour drive from Montreal! #2 for natural snow fall across all of North America this year!!! 🇧🇲❄️

6 months out from the Winter Olympics, my cousin Grace Munro who started a snowsport society from scratch in Bermuda asked me if I would write an article for their “inspiration” section of their website. I responded: “I would love to! But I’m not sure I know enough about snow sports considering I’ve been cross-country skiing once and I fell over more than the 2 year olds having fun in the hills of Lillehammer 🤣” She proceeded to convince me that I had a story to tell about winter sports, so I wanted to do it justice for her charity helping to show people in the beautiful island of Bermuda that despite their white sandy beaches and tropical climate, there’s absolutely nothing stopping them from taking up skiing/snowboarding or any winter sport for that matter! So in my wee “gap” year away from curling, I decided I wanted to do my story justice. “Chasing more than Gold” gives an insight into my story as a British Curling Athlete but also as a young girl who grew up in her family rink, knowing that nothing should get in the way of her achieving her dreams! I just hope that one person gets as much satisfaction from reading the article as I have from reflecting on my life in curling so far. I want to use this opportunity to send the best of luck to my wonderful former teammates @teamfhenderson at their first world championship starting in Canada this week. You girls have been through too much and I wish I could be there cheering you on. I’m so proud of you all and you go and do yourselves proud knowing that you truly deserve this moment so much. Please know I’m cheering soo loudly from the other side of the world 🩵

We’re feeling privileged to attend a special Bermuda Sports Organisation reception this evening with His Excellency the Governor Andrew Murdoch CMG and @fco_palmerston the cat! 🐾 This is the second year we’ve had this amazing opportunity to share the love and joy of Snow Sports through Bermuda. ☃️ @hataya830 and @harryjmunro attending in 2026!
