Most importantly, thank you to every yogi who showed up and shared space with us. All of you were the ones that made this gathering a beautiful one.

We also want to thank everyone who donated to an important cause to #womeninmusicdenver. Your support helps continue strengthen all women in the music industry.

I’ve spent 16 years with Black Swan Yoga. From my first life-changing yoga class at the Swan in Austin in October 2009 to opening my third BSY in Colorado in August 2025, the transformation, growth, healing and memories are endless. I’m deeply grateful for the privilege and responsibility of creating a place where thousands of people have healing experiences by coming home to themselves through the yoga practice. The more life I experience, the deeper my reverence is for the mission & people of BSY. I love you all and am so thankful to be a part of the mission to offer donation-based yoga to all who seek it. 🪷🖤🦢♾️

A few highlights from the new studio opening journey…

1. God prepared the perfect space for us. Construction begins 🦺

2. The darkness with light in the distance spoke to me. This was the first time I opened a studio entirely on my own. So many unknowns, so much growth ahead🌠

3. Turned Sofia’s owl drawing into a notebook. “Mama, I know what owls symbolize…girl power!” 🦉

4. I spent a lot of money. Many sleepless nights from the stress. So much respect for business owners💸

5. My kids were home for the summer during the busiest months of the process. Most chaotic bosses you can imagine🎪

6. I stayed diligent on my personal practices for energy. Sunrise piano at my Denver home away from home was a moment. 🎶

7. Madi in matte. She’s coming along and I am giddy 🤓

8. Tears from the goodness of living in alignment. Listen for God, follow His guidance, even when He asks you to do more than you think you can. Keep your faith strong. ☀️

9. BSY OG’s Sam & Libby bringing the leadership hype!!! 🖤🦢♾️

10. Our very own YTT room! Magic will be made here 🤸

11. Won TOP YOGA STUDIO IN DENVER. 🥇

12. Opened the studio on a new moon. Made a bathroom to match. 🌑

13. Opening day flowers from my Mama & besties🥹

14. Opening day art from Sam that is now reminding me to recharge & recoup & trust the journey💞

15. Expanded my management team to these 4 baddies. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

16-20 Opening day magic. 🪄 Say. Less. 🙏🏻

If you told me 4 months ago that I would be a certified yoga teacher right now, I’d tell you to get out of town. My intuition loves to hit me with info like a bus, and my call to this program came in savasana in one of my frequented @blackswanyogadenver classes. In moments it clicked. I don’t even know what I’d be doing now if I hadn’t heard that little bell ring inside me saying “do this”.

I almost don’t have words for how this program, instructors and my 21-person cohort have changed me. Imagine us all, in a studio for nearly 20 hours every weekend for 10 weeks straight. Yes, we’re physically stronger, and more aligned. Yes, we can practice the hell out of a flow. But developing a yoga mind is the real fireworks show. Finding soulmates in 10 weeks is beyond any description or one emotion. I’m eternally grateful for this experience, to have met such incredible people along the way and be guided by @so.willowflows . These gorgeous humans are forever woven into the fabric of my life. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
