Norwich’s Glow Ride 2026 is happening tomorrow, run by @womens_cycling_nr it’s going to be a great event raising awareness of women and girls’ safety cycling and being out at night!

Starting at City Hall from 6pm and ending at @st_saviours_yard for the after party with food, drinks and music! Or pop by the yard from 3:30pm to see @pedalpoweredprojects if you need anything sorted with your bike before the ride!

We’ll be open serving from 6:30pm so see you then!

1 day to go... ✨

Everyone deserves the freedom to move around our city and feel that they belong. Women’s safety is a vital part of that, and so is creating streets where nobody has to live with fear, restrictions or the expectation that they must adapt their lives to feel safe.

Tomorrow, we ride to make these issues visible and call for change.

Hey spookies! I can't tell you how ridiculously excited I am that our first Halloween in the shop @st_saviours_yard not only falls on a Saturday... But pretty much everyone at The Yard is getting into the spirit of making the day as spookily fun as it can be! @trinketfairydesigns
and I have already started decorating! 👻
We'll be open from 11-7 (as will lots of the other containers) and we'll have a spooky selection of @doodle_donuts finest vegan deliciousness (come early to guarantee your pick of the flavours! Menu coming soon! 👀)
🦇
@spookyvalentine will be spinning the spookiest tunes from 12-5...
🐈‍⬛
@sod.bakery will have her usual selection of amazing bakes with a spooky twist...
💜
@thebatandfriends_norwich has painstakingly crocheted 30 ghosts ready to be hidden in the spookiest corners of the yard, ready for a trick or treat themed hunt, where if you find one of the ghosties you may win a prize from one of the small businesses on the yard (or you may get a trick! 🙀)
👻
@linlyart is planning some fun workshops and has an awesome selection of spooky stickers, totes, wands and loads more!
🦇
@waywardadventurersguild has organised a stamp trail with 5 other businesses on the yard (more details on their page!)
🐈‍⬛
@kaiju.kreatives is running a spooky cosplay competition (more details on their page!)
💜
Phew! And that's not even everything but I've run out of time, and I probably shouldn't use the word spooky any more times today, although if you've read this far I'd love it so much if you would kindly comment the word 'Spooky' to help me get the word out!👻😹
👻
TLDR: Come to St. Saviours Yard on Halloween because it's going to be a really fun day with activities for all ages and lots of delicious treats, and maybe the odd trick! 💜

Welcome @sod.bakery to Glimpse! 👋

Founded by Veronika Marshall, who studied Fashion Design at Norwich University of the Arts before coming back to baking, SØD (pronounced sood) started out supplying local Norwich cafes before opening its own shipping-container spot in @st_saviours_yard this year.

Expect proper Danish-style bakes, coffee-glazed buns, cardamom-honey-pistachio swirls, rotating brownies and blondies, plus vegan and gluten-free options.

Download Glimpse (link in bio!), sign-up, set your alerts and keep an eye out for SØD Bakery’s flash deals.
