Just sharing a few images to express my love for the time spent and the incredible people I got to share it with.
Grateful to the @gasworkslondon ecosystem for making me feel included and for fostering a sense of belonging in a foreign land something I’ve rarely felt.
This residency reminded me that artists matter more than the work itself, a realization I will cherish forever.

thank you all for tolerating my weired sense of humor (honestly, even I surprise myself sometimes).

It was a privilege to meet so many amazing people along the way, though I’m sad I couldn't capture everyone in pictures.

Many thanks to @inlaksfoundation and @charleswallaceindiatrust for all their generous support.

Last Tuesday on a glorious sunny evening we celebrated Artist Writing Group’s first publication ‘A Finely Tuned Battery of Senses’; a culmination of their writing workshop and response to LA Timpa’s solo exhibition ‘Come Back’ earlier this year.

Thank you to all participants of the past workshops, Oli Marden @olmardon & Frank Wates @frank__wates for their introduction to the event on Tuesday and Emre Ataman @emratamann, Pip Hudd, Martha Lowres @marthajlow and Ella Soni @ellasoni_ for reading from their lists, fables, structural texts and other musings in the gallery garden.

The publication authored by the group as a collective work brings together layered compositions of writing, edits, found images, working notes, and collective responses.

Editors: Frank Wates, Michelle Lee Johnson, Oli Mardon
Design: Michelle Lee Johnson

To read or acquire a copy there’s a few books left for sale at £5 each from the gallery office.
