🎬✊🏽 WHO GETS TO TELL THE STORY? AND HOW DO WE TELL IT DIFFERENTLY? We’re excited to collaborate with @mgfilm.fotos for a special panel discussion at Resistance Film Fest, exploring production through a lens of resistance. ✨ Film and media are powerful tools for shaping narratives, challenging dominant perspectives, and bringing overlooked stories to the forefront. But resistance doesn’t stop at what’s on screen. It can also be found in how stories are produced, whose voices are included, and the choices made behind the camera. 🌱 Join us for a conversation about the role of production in resistance, the power of creative storytelling, and how filmmakers and creatives can use their work to challenge the status quo and create space for new perspectives. 🎥 📅 Saturday, October 24 ⏰ 4:00–5:00 PM 📍 MECA Houston 🎟️ FREE WITH YOUR FESTIVAL RSVP! No separate registration is needed. RSVP for Resistance Film Fest through the link in our bio! Come listen, learn, exchange ideas, and explore how the way we create can be an act of resistance. Resistance is in the stories we tell—and in how we bring them to life. 🎬 Resistance Film Fest | Existing Is Resistance. #FilmProduction #Filmmaking #HoustonFilmmakers #BIPOCFilmmakers #HoustonCreatives
