Grateful doesn’t even begin to describe it 🥹

Over the past two weeks 22 incredible humans have traveled to Nicaragua to spend a week with me & each other in paradise

🌎 Traveling from 3 different countries, 7 states
🫶🏼 Ranging in age from 22-51 years old
☀️ Some who have known me for over 6 years and some who found me on TikTok & booked without ever taking my class

It’s a story of how complete strangers spend a week together sharing parts of their life story with each other, building connections and creating a safe space for vulnerability & growth.

I am wildly humbled to have gotten to lead & hold space for everyone and can’t wait to do it again in Peru ⛰️

So on my last day here in Nicaragua, I get to reflect & take pride in one of the most amazing experiences I’ve had ☀️

Forever grateful this is my job 🙏🏼 Thank you for trusting me & making my dreams my reality

This retreat was ✨girlhood✨ in real life

We physically moved, emotionally expressed, laughed so hard it hurt, ate local & delicious food and frozen our 🍑 off in an ice bath.

1. This group was curious, supportive, adventurous, eager to learn, caring & authentic. Strangers turned sisters.
2. I could hear the laughter coming from inside the sauna while outside timing the brave soul on the ice bath 😂
3. I only gift products I actually use & believe in and Wonder Valley was so kind to gift a Mini Body Oil to everyone 🫶🏼 There’s nothing better
4. I’ve never felt so free & creative when sequencing & teaching as I did on this retreat. Grateful for students who just let me do my thing and trust
5. Nightly bonfires were a staple
6. I got 1:1 time with everyone while I timed them in the ice bath 🥶 We told stories, breathed together, laughed, asked questions
7. We trained mobility in the evenings & I was so happy to share everything I’ve learned on my own backbend training journey
8. We made sure that ice bath stayed cold 😂 I’ve seen the benefits personally from doing them in Miami and wanted to make sure everyone got the experience!!!
9. We ate the most delicious food thanks to @pacospartymix
10. Meals at a big communal table swapping stories were my favorite
11. To wake up at @gatherwildranch every morning felt like such a blessing
12. I spent the mornings before class moving on my own, going through the sequences & listening to my body who apparently wanted oversplits 🤷🏼‍♀️
13. We spent pretty much every second except for sleeping outside & it was refreshing to say the least
14. This retreat was emotional af in the best way 🥹 I do a lil closing ceremony (won’t ruin the surprise for when you come on your first retreat) and I never really cry but this retreat I barely made it through I couldn’t keep it together. So deeply touched by everyone.

Who’s coming on the next one? Comment RETREAT and I’ll send you all info for Nicaragua. ☀️

Belong to yourself first.
Your level of true belonging can never be greater than your willingness to be brave and stand by yourself.

Honor new beginnings. Take with you all that you’ve learned in the last 10 years. Leave behind what doesn’t serve you anymore. Acknowledge how far you’ve come, how much you’ve changed. Set your intentions for where you want to go from here. Then trust this decade and yourself ✨
