MORDAZ es un intento de su realizador, Clio, por apoyar a Estefano, joven chileno encarcelado por defender su vida de un ataque transfóbico. A través de distintos registros y archivos, tanto personales como del caso de Estefano, Clio indaga en el quehacer documental, su propio género, y cómo la violencia sistémica atraviesa de lo institucional a lo íntimo.

MORDAZ is an attempt by its director, Clio, to support Estefano, a young Chilean man incarcerated for defending his life from a transphobic attack. Through a variety of personal and case-related archives, Clio explores the practice of documentary filmmaking, their own gender, and how systemic violence permeates from the institutional to the intimate.

On the 14th of February, we have the absolute pleasure of inviting you for a night of hot&sweaty arm wrestling with Hamburg’s most iconic host @strugglingfemme💋
Come ready to show off your muscles and fight to the sound of dj_young.shawty @yung_shawtea and CHINYERE @chinyyyere.
We will have several prizes to give out, thanks to @fuckyeah_sexshop, @sofocadera, @jennyv.lr and @ais.gh<3

If you haven’t found your (romantic or platonic!) valentine yet, we got you!
Through an anonymised process, you can send us some words about you, and who you dream to find. The personal ads will be printed out and featured in the dyke*bar space over the weekend, and on Saturday night you’ll get the chance of having them read to you personally by @gazermagazine. You’ll also have the possibility to buy one of their magazines and support the funding of the 4th edition.

AND since transparency is sexy: We will be donating half of the dyke*bar’s proceeds to @powertranse3000’s transition fund, so come by and spend some $$$ - the rest of the money will be shared between a fund for future events and payment for our lovely staff<3

Unsere Haare werden wieder länger, und in unseren Herzen hallen noch das Schnippeln der Scheren, die Gespräche, Begegnungen und Berührungen der letzten Edition 𝐵𝑅𝒪𝑀𝒜𝒩𝒞𝐸 𝓍 𝒬𝒰𝐸𝐸𝑅 𝐻𝒜𝐼𝑅 𝒮𝒜𝐿𝒪𝒩 nach ✂️💓

konnten wir gemeinsam 1.567 € sammeln. ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥
Der gesamte Betrag geht als Soli-Spende an Casa Kuà @casakua – ein von trans* und nicht-binären BIPoC selbstorganisiertes Zentrum für einen gerechteren Zugang zu Gesundheit.

Danke an alle, die Platz genommen, Raum gehalten und die beide Editionen möglich gemacht haben.

❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 With the two editions so far, we were able to raise a total of €1,567 ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥
The full amount will be donated as a solidarity contribution to Casa Kuà @casakua – a trans* and non-binary BIPoC–led center working towards more equitable access to healthcare.

Thank you to everyone who took a seat, held space, and made both editions possible.
🎀 We’re keeping it going and will return with more events early next year.
