$Writing our recent Alone Together case study led to an unexpected conversation within the team. We started by trying to explain what we'd done. The more we wrote, the more we realised the interesting part wasn't the production itself. It was the thinking behind it. Every project involves thousands of decisions. Creative decisions. Technical decisions. Production decisions. Most of them go unnoticed, and that's exactly as it should be. Because none of those decisions exist for their own sake. They're there to help create something that stays with people. That idea has quietly become part of how we approach every project, whether it's an immersive experience, a brand campaign, a documentary or a portrait. The real challenge was never capturing what happened. It was preserving what people felt. Inspired by our recent collaboration on Alone Together with @sofractures and @ct_global$

$As the day became night, the atmosphere shifted. The performances became louder. The projections became bolder. Conversations turned into celebrations. What remained constant was the feeling that everyone was sharing the same experience together. For us, these are the moments that matter most. Not simply documenting what happened, but preserving the atmosphere so people who weren't there can understand what it felt like to be in the room. A privilege to be part of this one. C.Y. Lee (@cxy) and Carl Tydingco (@clt ) are creative technologists working toward a world where fans can support independent artists more directly. They are working with 30 artists to will those ecosystems into existence, drawing on firsthand experience of the record-store, file-sharing, streaming, and NFT eras.

Their all-day “Sanctuary for Technological Creatives” is an open studio for artists working with software and hardware to share unfinished work, compare notes, and meet future collaborators. Artists including Sound of Fractures (Alone Together), Tom Vek (Sleevenote), Pete Rango (Music Nerd), Latashá (TOPIA), Songadaymann (We All Make a Platformer), Vivid Fever Dreams (Dream Sequence), Xcelencia (El Nino Maravilla), TK (Darkside), Black Dave, and Mary Maguire will show what they are making, and visitors are invited to bring work of their own.

$The daytime sessions weren't designed around performance. They were designed around presence. People arrived, settled into the space, explored immersive projections, experienced live performances and connected through conversation. Capturing those moments required a different approach to production. Less observation from the outside. More integration within the experience. $LALAL.AI’s hackathon era continues 🎧 We were excited to support the three-day Artist-Led Creative Sprint at the University of Westminster (@uniwestminster) in London, led by @sofractures. Students from music, technology, design, media, and business came together to explore new forms of creative collaboration — developing everything from interactive experiences to AI-powered prototypes. To help the participants keep building, we provided access to the LALAL.AI API, our VST plugin, and 250 free minutes. A huge thank you to @sofractures and the Westminster team (@uniwestminster).
