PILOT RADIO – 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY
30.05.26 ~ 14:00 - 22:00

It’s been a whole turn around the sun since we started streaming our vision out into the ether. We are baffled by the amount of heart that every single contribution brought to our little community radio, making it the special place it is today.

There’s going to be a whole day (and night) of music, starting in the garden of our home. We’re setting up a soundsystem outside, firing up the stove for some heartwarming stew and setting up a bar for some refreshments . So come by and celebrate with us!

big thanks to @openground.club + @ballettaudio for the invite to wuppertal. thanks to markus and christine! i’m still processing the sound and experience. from sound checking and exploring the club empty to then seeing bodies move on the dance floor and hearing the crisp intricacies of my records in the annex. it’s really beautiful to see such a club in a nice city such as wuppertal bring such a sense of community. there is a like mindedness between people in that space, aka it like a pilgrimage…i’m always grateful to connect with new people and delve into depths of life with them too. lovely @mauzius, @softburn_ @ophelieeeee__ @neffa_t and josey

in the photo me + @softburn_ are holding his 7” records - actually the last two he played, i’m holding open up by @lordtusk and @jamesmassiah - hearing james’s voice on that sound system was really special. clint ended with ‘ring my bell’ by anita ward - i love that song so much and i was curious as to hearing disco on that sound system so it was the perfect way to end the night.
