october flow + connect is live! these monthly(ish) gatherings have a simple structure: mellow yoga, paired with curated questions/activities to get to know fellow attendees.

what’s the yoga like? think calm, beginner-friendly, supportive. and the connection piece? at our last event, we talked about our autumn intentions, long beach hidden gems, opinions on worms 🪱 and that’s just a sneak peek!

consider this your invitation to get outside and into some soft movement with potential new friends ☻

join flow + connect on sunday, oct 18th @ 10am ✨ (rsvp in bio)

Getting back in the flow (yes yes, pun intended) of holding space for yoga and bringing people together!

LB folks and friends I haven’t met yet, join me for a little gathering of movement and meaningful connection. Part yoga class, part sharing circle (with a fun activity or two), we’ll get together with the intention to slow down, tend to our softness, and simply be in community. If you’re looking for a low-pressure way to meet new people, this is for you ♡

what a long year this month has been, right?

I hope you do something nice for yourself this weekend, this coming month, and honestly every damn day. We have to prioritize taking deep care of ourselves and our communities, right NOW. Don’t wait to build self-nourishment habits - start here to get in the practice of regular nervous system care:

1. DAILY CHECK IN 🌼 As the saying goes, you’ve got to feel it to heal it. Recognizing which nervous system state you’re in is the first step to figuring out what you need to come into balance in the moment. I love @neurofit.app for this and use it every single day (discount in my bio!)

2. INTEGRATE ADAPTOGENS 🌼 this category of herbs is SO supportive in helping us adapt (as the name suggests) to stress of all kinds and maintain balance. Best taken over time, a few herbs in this category include ashwagandha, reishi, astragalus, and tulsi (my personal fave)!

3. MOVE YOUR BODY (JOYFULLY) 🌼 yes, the benefits of exercise are well-known, but most importantly: it’s easier to do when you’re having fun! Find a way to move that works for you, and do it often.

4. GO TO BED 🌼 Solid, quality sleep does wonders for our stress levels, immune systems, brain health, and overall wellbeing! Get in the practice of a regular wind down routine to ease into a good night’s sleep.

Nervous system care and regulation isn’t a one-and-done dealio, it’s a practice that deserves attention in all of our lives 🖤 sending you love and tenderness, always!

friend, you deserve a softer life.

let that begin with showing yourself self love in the form of a deep tenderness

that wraps around every inch of your being

be held in that tender space - from it, see how your heart opens

Are you tender with yourself?
