What a first session! 🥹🛼💜

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who came along to our new intake. We had such a brilliant time and honestly couldn’t have asked for a lovelier bunch of humans to join us.

Thank you for showing up, giving it a go, cheering each other on, laughing with us and bringing such brilliant energy. Everyone did amazingly and we’re already so happy to have so many new skaters and new friends joining the Arcadia family. 💜

If you signed up but couldn’t make it this week, don’t worry! We’d still LOVE to see you next week. You haven’t missed your chance to get involved.

We’re so happy with how our first week went and can’t wait to do it all again. See you next Sunday! 🛼✨

More of your smiling faces from around the park at @sparkle.charity

As always, if you’re in one of these photos and would like to be tagged, DM me and I’ll make it happen

Why so many tags and collabs? We can only use 5 hashtags now, a good description can help reach a wider audience, but by adding tags and collabs we can reach more trans folk and help drive attendance of future events. So please, like, comment and get yourself tagged so we can spread the word further!

One of the best events we have ever attended; Sparkles 2026! Nothing short of absolutely fabulous!

We laughed, we cried, we danced, we drank but most of all we left educated & with respect for the Trans community, it was just amazing !

We were so proud to be one of the traders & so looking forward to 2027!

If I were to name this photo, it would be “Still Smiling”

Many of the faces here were in the park when I arrived on Friday afternoon, the heat and humidity punishing all. But this photo wasn’t taken on Friday. It was taken at 7pm on Saturday. Jac (pictured in the red hat) had been powering up and down the park constantly running around making things happen. Being volunteer lead isn’t an easy role, but the difficulties of running an event this size were never evident to the crowd. But as you can see from this photo, xir spirit never dropped.

A quick edit and reupload

The true stars of Sparkle Weekend, the volunteers that made it all happen.

If you appear in this image and would like a copy, DM me and I will send you the link to a high-res printable version. It prints best on 8x10 photo paper and is best printed at a Snappy Snaps or Boots photo machine (others are available and it will also look okay from FreePrints)

thank you to all the amazing volunteers
