I LIKE TO TALK #2 What’s your Utopia?

und merci3000 @softpowerverysoft for having us! 💌

In 1996 Jennifer Ringley pointed a webcam at her dorm room and left it running for eight years.

Krys Huba (@krys.huba ) paints from the few grainy stills that survive of JenniCam.org, printing the screenshots onto canvas and working over them in oil, alongside latex casts on glass and glass marbles set into the wall. falling into you is on view at soft power (@softpowerverysoft), Fürbringerstraße 11, Berlin-Kreuzberg, until October 17, 2026, Thursday to Saturday, 15:00 to 19:00. Meine Review “Privatsphäre.com” liegt in der DROPBOX

🤡🤡🤡

Oktober 🤍🌬️
& Performative Lesung am 8. Oktober!

This art week I had two adjustments: didnt drink and avoided the parties. That made the difference, I actually was able to receive art. Stil body is sour:working everyday and hard arthoeing. Grateful for the reunion of all this amazing people.

I was touched by the way how Miriam Kongstad moves in space with a big smile, catching everyone. is not acting, she is fully there giving 1000%. we loved the builtup, it didnt feel too long or too short.
Also moved by Deva Schubert vocal collisions. The gesture of the movements of the performances, snesual and painful, the choir voices penetrated until the deeps insides of the skin. It reminded me to another moment of the art week, years ago, where i was suddenly involved in. The eco of our bodies in the performances. Remember?

Special mention to Black Power Naps performance at Liturgy for the tired body in Medizinischer museum, because it was the most different, so fresh. Built from poetry ready to challenge our hearts, and songs to transform. Yes, they point a topic that i also work with (reclaiming rest in the arts as resistance), but what moved me was the humour, the generosity and freedom around it. They did it with professionality & elegance but also they dont take themselves that serious, which is something the artworld is missing too often
