What makes cacao ceremonial? It’s a lovely question, because it’s more than simply taking a quiet moment with a warm drink. It begins before we make our cup. Ceremonial cacao is usually made from 100% cacao paste, with the bean’s natural cocoa butter still in it, it gives you a rich, full-bodied cacao drink to make your own. But there’s a story behind it, too. Some producers prepare the paste where the cacao grows, working with farming families and local processors rather than sending the beans overseas for that work. This keeps more of the making close to the people and place it comes from. Then comes the part we bring to it. A warm cup, a breath before the first sip, a moment to appreciate the cacao and the people whose work brought it here and an opportunity to Pause for a moment and be fully present. Perhaps asking yourself, “How am I feeling?” “What do I need today?” “What am I grateful for?” “What would I like to bring to this day?” You don’t need a perfect setting or special words. Just a little room for yourself. Pause, sip and enjoy. What’s your intention today?

One hands-on day doesn’t mean just one day of learning. Whether you’re starting with our Basic Body Massage training or exploring one of our Harmony Elements days, there’s more to learning than memorising a massage routine. It’s about understanding the techniques, practising them and knowing how to work safely and thoughtfully. Our Harmony Elements days focus on different areas of the body: • Core Awakening— abdominal massage • Womb Awakening— womb and abdominal bodywork • Root Awakening— leg massage • Back to Balance— back massage • Heart Heal— neck, head and shoulders Your learning includes one hands-on training day, theory videos and at least six case studies to complete for certification. You’ll explore consultation, safety, contraindications and aftercare alongside the practical techniques. No previous qualification is needed for the basic course. Entry requirements and certification differ for the Harmony Elements days—we’ll help you understand which course is right for you. How would it feel if you knew that you were allowed to be strong and yet be Supported at the same time? This was one of my biggest personal breakthroughs 🦋 Have you been described as The capable one. The reliable one. The one who holds it together. Sometimes those words describe what you can do without revealing what you need. You can be strong and still want someone to ask how you are. You can be capable and still need care. In The Prison of Being Strong, a chapter in Pain Free, I explore the difference between supporting others and allowing yourself to be supported too. “Real strength is not the absence of need.” If that sentence gives you a moment of recognition, this chapter may be one you want to spend time with. 🌸 World Menopause Day 🌸 As hormone levels naturally decline during menopause, our skin goes through a big shift. Oestrogen plays a major role in maintaining moisture, elasticity, and collagen production — so when levels drop, it can leave skin feeling dry, thin, and more prone to wrinkles. But it’s not all doom and gloom! With a few mindful tweaks, you can keep your skin feeling comfortable, nourished, and glowing ✨ 💧 Hydration is Everything Lower oestrogen means your skin produces less sebum (natural oil), leading to dryness and sensitivity. Look for products that deeply hydrate and strengthen your moisture barrier — and remember to drink plenty of water! Try: Tropic’s Rainforest Dew and Skin Feast for plump, hydrated skin. 🌸 Boost Collagen & Elasticity Collagen production declines rapidly during menopause, which can cause the skin to lose firmness and bounce. Support your body from the inside out: • Add collagen powder to your morning smoothie. • Sip on bone broth — it’s wonderful for skin, joints, and bone health. ☀️ Prioritise Protection With thinner, drier skin, protection is key. • SPF is non-negotiable – every single day, even when it’s cloudy! • Antioxidant-rich products like Skin Feast or Rainforest Dew help defend against free radicals and support repair. 🌼 Soothe Sensitivity Fluctuating hormones can lead to redness, irritation, or even breakouts (yes, even now!). • Book a facial or use a gentle clay-based mask to calm the skin. • Sip on chamomile tea to soothe from the inside out. Top tip: Carry a fan or Morning Mist in your bag for those hot flushes! 🌿 Self-Care, Inside & Out Menopause can be an emotional time — so self-care is just as important as skincare. • Stay hydrated • Eat a rainbow of fresh foods • Get enough rest • Take time for you Your skin is evolving — and with the right care, it can feel more radiant than ever ✨ 💬 Comment “MENOPAUSE” if you’d like me to recommend a Tropic routine that suits your skin right now 🌿 #MenopauseSkincare #TropicAmbassador #NaturalSkincare #GlowingSkinAtEveryAge #SkincareOver40

A few weeks later, and we still find ourselves coming back to this moment. A room filled with stillness. The gentle resonance of the gongs. The warmth of cacao. The feeling of being completely present. Thank you to @sohanagrace & @harmony_soundhealing for creating such a beautiful space for our community to slow down, soften and simply be. In a weekend full of movement, connection and conversation, this was a moment of pure stillness and deep rest. One we'll remember for a long time. 🤍 #Lumora #SoundBath #CacaoCeremony #WellbeingFestival #HealingThroughSound #Community #Presence #KentEvents

Thank you so much to everyone who joined us this morning. When we first had the idea to bring a group of space holders and wellness practitioners together, we honestly had no idea whether it would work or if people would even be interested but this morning was a huge success. It was so special to see such a lovely group of like-minded people come together, share their offerings, connect, support one another and simply have space to meet and chat. If you’re keen to find out about our next one and join our growing network, head to the form in our bio to register.
