What happens when 10 founders bring their laptops, their questions, and their willingness to build? You get a room full of female food entrepreneurs moving their businesses forward in real time. Our Email Builder Masterclass with Mary Legakis-Engel, Founder of Mary’s Muffins, was a hands-on working session designed to help CWIF Members launch or relaunch their email marketing funnels. Together, founders worked through: ✅ stronger email opt-ins
✅ launch-ready e-blasts
✅ nurture workflow structures
✅ clearer brand messaging
✅ practical ways to use AI to write faster One of the biggest takeaways? Don’t overthink how you connect with your community. People do not unsubscribe as much as you think they do. Your customers, buyers, and supporters want to hear from you when you have something useful, thoughtful, and relevant to share. A huge thank you to Mary for her expert facilitation and for bringing 20+ years of entrepreneurial experience into the room with such clarity and generosity. Thank you to every attendee who came ready, stayed locked in, and did the work. And thank you to the Oakville Chamber of Commerce for providing the space for this essential work to happen. Now we look forward to seeing those e-blasts go out—and seeing the revenue results of this Masterclass come to life. #CanadianWomenInFood #WomenInFood #EmailMarketing #foodentrepreneurs

Your balcony garden starts with the foundation 🌿 Healthy plants don’t just happen from watering alone — they start with quality soil, strong planters with good drainage, and a living soil ecosystem full of beneficial microbes working beneath the surface. Think of your soil like a tiny underground city 🪱✨ The microbes break down nutrients, help roots absorb water, improve soil structure, and support stronger, more resilient plants. For this build I’m using @soilbooster Jocelyn’s Soil Booster to help kickstart that living soil life and create a healthier growing environment from the ground up 🌱 Whether you’re growing native plants, veggies, pollinator gardens, or herbs on a tiny balcony… building healthy soil first changes everything. #BalconyGarden #ContainerGardening #LivingSoil #SoilHealth #PollinatorGarden
