We’re kicking off our 2026–27 Fly Tying Demo season with a SPOOKY guest on a SPOOKY day! 🎃👻
~
Join us on Halloween, Saturday, October 31st, from 10:30am–12:30pm, as we welcome Chris Krueger (@rockymountainflydesign) for our first fly tying demo of the season! Only 25 spots are available, so be sure to reserve yours through the link in our bio!
~
Fly tying season is officially here, and we couldn’t be more excited to start announcing this year’s lineup of talented fly tyers! We’re starting things off with one of our favorite local tyers, Chris Krueger. A Fort Collins native, Chris owns and operates @rockymountainflydesign and is a Signature Fly Designer with @montanaflycompany, as well as a pro team member of @regal_vise, @solarezflytying, and @ahrexhooks.
~
With a name like Krueger, who better to kick things off on Halloween? 🔪🎃 Costumes are highly encouraged, but certainly not required! We’re looking forward to some frighteningly good flies, great company, and a fun start to another season of fly tying demos. We hope to see you there! #stpetesflyshop #weareguestsonthisriver #halloween #spookyseason #flytying

I went to a 9/11 memorial service today in Morgantown WV, came home and knocked out some patriotic art flies.
The event was like most others today was a real tear jerker. And just like everyone else I remember exactly where I was when the attack happened. In Mrs.Johnsons English class. I was enlisted Dec 1 of the same year, I was 17.5 years old, still a baby. But it was full of rage, that moment defined a lot of my life.
It brought me to @phwff and where I’m at today.
#neverforget911
I made three of these, this one is already spoken for.
I’ll post the others for sale when I get them in a display. Be safe out there and keep your head on a swivel.
