This Tuesday, we met in partnership with @solidaritea4pal, whose current campaign involves mutual aid donations to families in Gaza and a water sovereignty project to eventually help fund the construction of a water salination plant. This conversation set the stage for a screening of Land of Canaan at @matthaeinichols. We were joined by key contributors of the film, including Dr. Nasser Abufarha, who led the movement to organize Palestinian olive farmers into collective fair-trade networks in the face of genocide, ecocide, and cultural erasure. Thank you to the amazing community that came together this week in contributing to our vision for how we can contribute to land sovereignty + stewardship, sustainability, and a free Palestine.

Michigan! Join us on Saturday for the March for Palestine to mark 3 years of resistance. October 7th, 2023 marked the beginning of one of the worst atrocities in human history. The illegal occupiers of Palestine that call themselves “Israel” have been ceaselessly bombing and torturing over 2 million Palestinians in Gaza while committing countless acts of murder and violence in the West Bank. Now, 3 years into the ongoing genocide and 78 years into the brutal occupation under Western powers, we take to the streets as a unified front to show the U.S. and Palestine that we will never abandon the Palestinian people. Let this event mark the continuation of our direct actions to liberate Palestine and all those who suffer under the “Israeli” terrorist organization. We hope to see you there. 📍South Peace Park 1911 Salina Street, Dearborn, MI 🗓️ October 10th, 2:00 PM

‼️‼️‼️ ANNOUNCING SOLIDARITEA CHICAGO We are beginning a new chapter of SolidariTEA in Chicago to grow our solidarity with the steadfast Palestinians in Gaza and support families during the ongoing zionist genocide. While we view fundraising as distinct from building power through organizing, we acknowledge the responsibility of those in the imperial core to financially support Palestinians and all peoples who persevere through imperialist violence. If you are interested in joining the fundraising effort, scan the QR code above or visit bit.ly/steachicago, and feel free to DM us! Solidarity forever!

The WMU College Democrats were so excited to support Sierra Club U-Mich at their Planet Party 🌎✨ The live music was incredible, and it was amazing to see so many organizations out tabling and connecting with students. We had some great conversations and learned about so many ideas we would love to bring back and share with our student body. Big shoutout to Mia Breznau for highlighting this event. We love supporting advocacy work across Michigan, and this was such a fun and meaningful event to be part of 💙
