What an incredible night, thank you so much to everyone who came out to the opening of my new work @bricbrooklyn last week. This show will be up until Dec 12th at Bric, 647 Fulton St, Brooklyn

This was the most complex undertaking of my career (so far) and I could never have done it without all of the support of the Bric team & all the wonderful people in my life. Thank you to all of my friends, mentors and fellow artists near and far 💜

$Work in Progress' (WIP) interactive art festival includes 40+ artists who are making art in real time. Be prepared to be hands on participating in activation and connecting with so many talented artists. Here are a few artists I'd like to highlight with activities they're hosting (there is so much talent showcased at this festival so this is just a sampling - please check them all out!): UNRYU PAPER MURAL: large-scale mural of fragmented figures on Unryu paper. You can pick up charcoal and pastel, add your own color, and leave your mark behind - LERATO ASHLEY NGOBENI BREAKING & REBUILDING: A LIVING WALL Porcelain breaks, gold binds, and repair becomes ritual as visitors write, fracture, rebuild, and decide what fragments remain within the growing wall. - LARA ALCANTARA EMOTIONAL LANDSCAPES: A twelve-panel painting series where meditation, memory, and audience participation transform emotion into a shared landscape. -JENNY SANTI FROM TRASH TO TREASURED: discarded objects and fragments are encased in resin, transforming traces of consumption into sculptural reflections of contemporary life - CHARLES OSAWA "WHAT DO YOU NEED? / ¿QUÉ NECESITAS?" A bilingual reading of this book will take place - SOLENA AGUILAR ACTIVITIES FOR HUMANS: one of Momo’s games for a chance to interview with the CEO herself. Expect cryptic riddles, questionable hiring practices, and payments accepted in kibble. - MOMO the Cavapoo ALLIUM: An interactive light-art installation inspired by themes of unity and perseverance. Visitors are invited to join hands and activate a mesmerizing audio-visual experience. - EVERYTHING GOOD STUDIO HAND-BEADED BAR INTERVENTION: Hand-beaded snacks and drinks blend with real ones, turning the bar into a playful game of perception and visual deception.
