POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Look around a Future Founders event and you’ll see leadership everywhere.

It’s in the participant presenting an idea for the first time. The peer offering encouragement. The young entrepreneur stepping outside their comfort zone to start a conversation.

These moments may seem small, but they add up.

Because leadership isn’t something that appears overnight. It’s built one action, one decision, and one opportunity at a time.

Warm congratulations to CRATE for winning the $15,000 prize at this year’s MIT Arts Startup Incubator with their innovative B2B platform that helps gallery owners forecast costs before making business decisions! 🚀

This year’s program featured new elements including an IAP learning intensive and prototyping workshops, helping teams refine their ideas—from Front Row Fantasy’s music platform where fans manage virtual labels to Block Party’s neighborhood cultural programming. “Having an arts incubator at a school like MIT is particularly valuable,” notes mentor DAOuda Leonard. “It places the humanities up front in determining how new technologies are put into the world.”

Other finalists included Artist Fans, Block Party, and Be the Beat, each receiving $2,500 to further develop their arts ventures.
