A new timeline,
a familiar self.

Here, present as I am.

It’s been a while.

Find the joy,
honest creation. Do your thing, just for you!
C R E A T E !

“Art is not about perfection or praise.
It’s about discovering who you are, letting your soul breathe, and growing through every beautiful mistake and honest attempt.

Find the joy in simply creating, and you’ll find yourself.”

These words speak the essence of what I live when I knit — creation as presence, not perfection.

✨ I don’t know who first spoke them, but if you do, please let me know so I can give her credit and tag her.

Sometimes it’s just this quiet air, steady hands,
the thread moving without rush.

Not objects. Not products.
Rituals of presence,
woven into fabric you can hold.

When music plays, my hands follow.
Each note becomes a loop, each rhythm a row.

I’m always listening to music, and knitting with music feels like a duet!
Sound and thread weaving together,
reminding me that creation is always collaboration.

In Portuguese, Mantas à Mão means “blankets by hand.”
It’s my first language, the sound of home.

I learned to knit as a child, watching my mother’s hands move with patience.
Those gestures stayed with me — quiet, steady, teaching me that beauty is built one loop at a time.

Now, when I create, I feel that same presence.
These mantas are not just objects.
They are memory, language, and love — woven into something you can hold.

Unbleached cotton. Pure. Honest. Like the roots I carry.

I feel God when I create.
When my hands are moving, when my body is swinging, when I stretch my muscles (specially the neck and shoulders during knitting ;)
… my soul is listening.
I don’t need to know the whole future.
Just the next stitch.

Made by my hands

Handmade is not a trend.
It’s grace in motion.
It’s a body in rhythm.
It’s what we were born to do.
To make. To bless. To remember.

I cook the same way I weave.
With hands, with care, with presence.
Every cut, every stir, every gesture —
a way of nurturing body and soul.

Sun-baked softness

When I knit in the sun, the fiber softens.
So does my body.
The blanket remembers the warmth.
It keeps it for later.
For the night.

My body makes.
My breath guides.
My hands remember.
I am not a machine.
I am a rhythm.
And this rhythm heals me.

This thread saved me

This thread saved me from forgetting.
It brought me back to my hands.
To my belly.
To the part of me that knows how to breathe when I feel lost.
