A beautiful moment from Dimee & Michael on the floor at Omniverse.

Smooth movement, strong connection, and effortless musicality made this one stand out — the kind you can feel even from the sidelines. ✨

We’re bringing it all back on March 28 at The Oak Grove for another Omniverse night — featuring Brazilian Zouk and Kizomba & Urban Kiz across multiple rooms.

📍 The Oak Grove – 3630 Telegraph Ave, Oakland, CA
🎟️ Comment “OMNIVERSE” and we’ll send you the link to join us

In my 6 to 7 years in the US, I’ve never attended a wedding here. I always wanted to, but for some reason, I was either busy or something else came up. Today, however, I finally got to celebrate my roommate's wedding right in our backyard! It was a beautiful, simple, and intimate gathering with friends, and I truly enjoyed every bit of the chaos while getting ready. Oksana and Dan are both such sweethearts, and I wish them a lifetime of love and happiness. Sharing some beautiful glimpses from this special day! 🤍

Who's listened to The Telepathy Tapes podcast?

These two. About five minutes. Silence. Just looking at each other... and communicating. ❤ So much being said.

Strength meets softness, speed flows into stillness – here’s what you’ll experience at this Sunday’s ZoukLounge wellness workshop 💃
ㅤ
Join us for Merging Polarities with DiMee, an exciting dance class where we explore embodying paradoxes. Discover the art of combining and expressing seemingly separate concepts - like strength and softness, slowness and speed.
ㅤ
Add more flavor, variety, attunement, and presence to your movements as you learn to integrate these contrasts, enriching your solo dance and bringing newfound expression and balance to your Brazilian Zouk.

Fusion Connection is here for beginners and dance veterans. Join us in the universal partner dance! It’s a celebration of improvisation in the moment.
Fusion Connection regularly has people trying out partner dance for the first time. We’re very supportive of new dancers! You don’t need to bring a partner to join us. Water and light snacks are provided.
Beginner friendly class at 6pm. Arrive a bit early to get situated. Bring comfortable, supportive shoes with minimal tread, or hard soles. Dancing in socks can be a last resort. Bare feet are discouraged; save your knees! Three hours of social dancing from 7-10pm featuring two DJS.
This month’s class your Fusion Connection host, Alex Coffman will be exploring the theme of “From Groove, to Go!” We’ll find ways to transition from being in a gentle groove dance with a partner, to dynamic moves, and back into grooving dance. Leads will learn to create opportunities to seamlessly transition from open to closed position. Follows will be examining the different cues from the lead for transitions in timing and positions.
Sarah G will be our first DJ of the night from 7:00-8:30pm. She has been getting her fusion groove on since 2015. She DJ’s like she dances, bringing playful lightness and slow sensuousness, making it easy to melt together on the dance floor.
Alex Coffman will close us out from 8:30-10.
Bring $20 or Venmo at the door. Short on funds or busy that night? Catch the last hour of dance from 9-10pm for $10. See Alex or Tzoul to sign in after 9pm.
Meet us at:
Bodhi Hive inside the Universe City of Dance Studio
