Happy Throwback Thursday, this time from @saltsalonlondon featuring some very serious boots on the ground journalism!

📸 Filmed & edited by the amazing multifaceted @sombrerisque ✨️

I heard @artbeyondtheshell were curating the sound for a @drmartensofficial x @asos collab so ofc I had to get down there and cause a bit of trouble 🤭🤷🏾‍♀️

We had the amazing @savssounds @sndyvibes & @ivyguerrier on the decks, a cute giveaway where I won some socks 😝, loads of chances to make new friends AND some tasty free drinks from @drinkpoppiuk & @weareghostlabs.

Comment below if you wanna see the rap battle w/ me and @ldeeamusic 👀😂

This is your ultimate guide to Notting Hill Carnival. 🇬🇧🎭

For its 60th anniversary, we asked DJs, artists, musicians, performers and Carnival regulars to share the tips, sounds, food spots and traditions that make Carnival what it is. 🔊🍛

From the best Sound Systems to follow, where to find good food, how to survive the weak signal and why understanding Carnival’s history matters, this is advice straight from the people who know it best. 🗺️📍

Come with an open mind. Let the music guide you. Explore the streets. Find your people. Stay hydrated. 💦 And most importantly, respect the culture and community that make Carnival possible.

Notting Hill Carnival is music, resistance, creativity, community and joy. ❤️‍🔥

Happy 60th, Carnival. See you in the streets. 🇬🇧🌍

Save this for the Bank Holiday weekend and send it to your Carnival crew. 📲

Special thanks for the incredible people who contributed with their tips and recommendations! 💕
