Sprint Mechanics Analysis for Long Jumpers 🏃‍♂️🦘

Long jump performance begins with efficient sprint mechanics.

A detailed sprint mechanics analysis helps identify and refine:
• Posture and body alignment
• Front-side and back-side mechanics
• Ground contact and projection
• Stride length and frequency
• Hip-knee-ankle coordination
• Arm action and rhythm
• Acceleration into maximum velocity
• Consistency of mechanics approaching the take-off

The objective is simple: convert horizontal sprint velocity into an efficient, controlled and powerful take-off.

For a long jumper, speed is not just about running fast—it is about running efficiently enough to carry maximum controllable velocity into the board.

Analyse the movement. Refine the mechanics. Maximise the take-off.

Eternally grateful to God for the beauty of His people and His creation.

Success isn't built by pulling others down—it's earned by pushing yourself beyond yesterday's limits.

If you want to be the best, compete with your own standards, not someone else's weaknesses. Raise the bar, stay disciplined, and let your work speak louder than your words.

Set the standard. Don't chase it.
