A distinctive gradient has been introduced as a signature visual element within the brand system. Gradients are used sparingly to maintain a sense of refinement, but when applied they create a striking and memorable moment within the design. The gradient transitions between the rich base tones and lighter colours, symbolising movement, transformation and progress, key ideas within fashion design and product development. It also helps the brand stand out visually within a competitive design landscape where many studios rely on flat minimalism.

The visual identity for @somer.studio_ has been designed to position the studio as a premium, strategic fashion design partner rather than a general freelance service. CUSTOM! CUSTOM! CUSTOM! - Introducing @somer.studio_ The Somer Studio logo is a completely custom, hand-drawn word-mark created specifically for the brand. The lettering was intentionally crafted rather than selected from an existing typeface to ensure the identity feels distinctive and own-able. The characters incorporate subtle curves and flowing forms, referencing the concept of movement. This idea connects directly to the studio’s focus on fashion development and activewear design, where garments are created to move with the body. The movement in the letterforms therefore becomes a visual metaphor for both clothing in motion and the dynamic evolution of brands. #branding #logo #design #graphicdesign #DesignStrategy
