At Kulasai Dasara, the streets become a stage for the divine. Faces transform, gods come alive, and faith takes on a whole new dimension. The air is charged with devotion, the energy is almost otherworldly, and for a moment, the line between the human and the divine seems to disappear.

But then, between one transformation and the next, life happens. A bus ride, a bottle of water, a quick refreshment break…. For a few minutes Gods go back to humanhood.

Because behind every extraordinary transformation, there are ordinary little moments that bring us back to earth.

🔥• Kulasai Dasara 2026 • 🔥

Il Kulasai Dasara è un festival induista religioso incredibile che si celebra ogni anno tra settembre e ottobre nel villaggio costiero di Kulasai nel Tamil Nadu, presso il tempio di Arulmigu Mutharamman Devi.

Il festival celebra la vittoria del bene sul male. Secondo la leggenda locale, gli abitanti del villaggio erano tormentati dal potente e crudele demone Magisasuran. Per salvarli, la Dea Mutharamman si incarnò in una bambina di nome Lalithambigai. La bambina crebbe in soli 9 giorni • ovvero i giornj del Navaratri •e il decimo giorno • Dasara • si trasformò nella potente dea Annai Parasakthi, uccidendo il demone sulla spiaggia del villaggio e riportando l’equilibrio cosmico.

Abbiamo provato a raccontarvi ciò che i nostri occhi hanno visto e ci rendiamo conto che 20 slide sono troppo poche per poter racchiudere questo festival, quindi sicuramente più avanti ne pubblicheremo altre.
Intanto godetevi questa nostra selezione, noi nel frattempo continuiamo a metabolizzare questa bellissima esperienza 🔥

This was my first time experiencing Sindoor Khela at CR Park, Delhi, and honestly, it was such a beautiful experience. ❤️

I always love capturing the little details, emotions, colours, and moments that make a festival feel alive. And this time, I’m so happy I got the chance to be a part of and photograph this beautiful celebration.
Some moments are not just meant to be captured, but also felt.
