🏁 Rally-raid is about much more than just driving 😉

Being a rally-raid driver requires a wide range of skills, from mastering challenging terrain to handling unexpected situations. Technical knowledge, and the ability to act quickly are all part of the game.

🇸🇦 Saudi rally driver #Dania_Akeel practices changing a wheel, highlighting an essential skill that can make a difference in the desert. Even during training, preparation and self-reliance are key to being ready for the challenges of rally-raid.

Because in the desert, being a great driver also means being prepared for anything! 💪🏁

Due to the conflict in the Middle East the Dakar Rally 2027 will be relocated from Saudi Arabia to Europe and Africa.

Allegedly, the event will retain a full Dakar format; a Prologue, 12 stages and more than 4,000 km of special stages.

The rally will start in Europe and will move to Africa by ferry.
New dates to remember:
9 January – Prologue in Europe
10 January – Stage 1 in Africa
22 January – Finish

Exactly when and where the start and finish locations are still speculative as we wait for official confirmation from the respective governments and @dakarrally

💥Stay tuned! The new route is expected to be announced by next Monday or Tuesday....
