Weekend best bits 💫

We ate soooo good & got lots of time outside despite storm Austen blowing a fucking gale!! Gorgeous Sunday afternoon snuggled up on the sofa watching films and my cup is full ready to smash another week doing what I love!

Hope all your weekends have been stunning too 💫

Back to one of our favourite cafés for a little pit stop on our shopping trip! ☕️✨

@sonderleeds in Leeds is such a gorgeous little find. I absolutely love the interiors, from the soft, muted colours to the cosy corners that make you want to sit down, relax and stay a little longer.

It’s one of those places where everything feels just right, and of course, the coffee and food are just as lovely as the surroundings.

I tried a mushroom latte (yes, really! 😂) and was pleasantly surprised. Earthy, smooth and rather perfect for an autumnal afternoon.

I’m always on the lookout for lovely independent cafés, and this one is definitely worth adding to your list if you’re in Leeds. Whether you’re meeting a friend, taking a break from shopping or simply fancy a really good coffee, it’s such a lovely spot.

There’s something rather nice about finding places that make an ordinary shopping trip feel like a little treat, isn’t there? 🤎

Visited Sonder Café, tucked away inside the beautiful Grand Arcade, to try some of their unique drinks and sweet treats!

We tried their matcha, tiramisu drink and apple pie drink, alongside two bakery treats 🍵🍰🥐
With its cosy interiors, creative drinks and lovely little café atmosphere, it’s a spot worth adding to your Leeds café list!

A HUGE THANK YOU, LEEDS!!!!

Every last one of you absolutely showed up and blew our flippin’ socks off!!!

Incredibly inspired and overjoyed with the total pull-together that the Leeds coffee community had over the Slurp Fest week/weekend!

Big props to @tampandwander who tirelessly and voluntarily dedicated her time and efforts into ensuring Slurp Fest Leeds was a success. We would like to give her a virtual standing ovation, if that’s okay with all of you. 👏🏼 Thank you Bee, what a powerhouse. 💕

Thank you to EVERY SINGLE cafe, roaster, workshop, engineer, importer, sponsor, activity organised, visitor…. THE LIST GOES ON.

Slurp Fest Leeds wouldn’t have had the roaring success that it did without any of you, so from the bottom of our hearts - a huge THANK YOU.

Last but not least, we’re happy to announce the map winner as @eliashui.c who bagged a WHOLE LOTTA STAMPS and will be receiving a big goody bag very soon - well done and thank you for taking part with such caffeinated enthusiasm!!!

Til next time…

Keep Slurpin’! ☕️

Sonder, Leeds ☕️🍵

Been back to Sonder a few times and I honestly still love the vibe here 🫶🏻✨
Cosy, aesthetic, and just the kind of place you can sit for ages with a good drink.

Their autumn menu is out 🍂 and I had to try the Tiramisu Matcha Latte 🍵🤎
It’s definitely on the sweeter side, but if you’ve got a sweet tooth, you’ll probably love it!

Definitely one of my favourite café spots in Leeds 🤎

Autumn drinks have landed at @sonderleeds 🍂☕️

Tucked inside The Grand Arcade, one of Leeds’ finest historic arcades, Sonder is already a brilliant place to stop off when you’re in the city centre.

We tried a couple from the new autumn menu, including the Tiramisu Matcha Latte they recommended and the Kinder Bueno Affogato, alongside a cinder toffee brownie and cinnamon roll.

Everything was delicious, and the setting makes it even better. Stylish, aesthetic and a really lovely space to sit, slow down and grab something sweet.

The Kinder Bueno Affogato was the standout for us 👀

What are you ordering first?

@sonderleeds is definitely the most aesthetic shop in Leeds and they have launched a new seasonal menu!

They kindly invited me to come and try out some of the drinks. The new specials are:
- Tiramisu matcha
- Apple pie latte
- S’mores mocha
- Kinder Bueno affogato
- Blueberry muffin cold brew

You can customise all of the drinks too which is great! You can get them hot or cold, as a latte, matcha or mocha. If you are a matcha lover I’d recommend getting an extra shot.

My favourite was the apple pie match 🍏 🍵 . It was such a comforting warming flavour with the sweet apple and slightly biscuity taste too. I think the tirimasu and s’mores options would be sooo good in the coffee or mocha 🍫 !

They even sell really cute home items like bottles, candle stick holders and art from local artist.

They do have gluten free bakes too but these aren’t coeliac safe due to possible cross contamination.

If you haven’t visited already it’s definitely worth a trip ✨
