An inspiring evening at the @media_trust @Meta Summer Drinks celebrating 30 years of making a change in the media industry and giving a voice to underrepresented talent.

I'm so proud of the work that Media Trust continue to do across the UK to skill up and level up the various creative industries.

Seeing so many of their programmes making such huge impact on lives, communities and stories in the mainstream is breathtaking to witness!

Seeing my former mentees now owning and smashing it in the industry always makes me feel like a proud Media Mama.

Yesterday I attended the @powerlistmagazine Black Excellence Gala. Yearly entrepreneurs and Professionals from across all sectors come together to recognise inspirational individuals featured in the yearly list.
I left feeling even more inspired! It was such a great evening. Congrats to the whole team - Micheal, @evasimpsonpublicrelations, Yvonne and @adenikeadenitire 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Natalie is the co-founder of Acacia Facilities, a landscaping service for businesses and individuals throughout the UK.

A year ago we celebrated the union of Jaina and Harish and it was a highlight! I loved the whole night and being part of their special day. Their story is so beautiful and soon Jaina will leave the UK to start a new life. When you find happiness embrace it. So much is missed when focused on "what if?"

Every woman here is equally as special and connected by the same passion for change and equality. I am so encouraged and uplifted by them daily.

Yesterday we held our first ‘Bend so you don’t break’ - let’s talk about relationships and self care evening of 2019. .

Our guest speakers @obijamesuk @strongerwithseema @germanethinkin @donaldmbeutcha #LaraOyedele opened up and shared advising us to strategically.
.
.
We discussed self care, healing, communication, self reflection, time and expectations. You can imagine how heated it got! @stephenismail spoke about #mindfulness and his work in schools.
.
.
@obijamesuk spoke about the coaching v counselling and why marriage should not feel like a life sentence. .
.
The room was filled with women and the question was raised as to why men do not shown up. Dear men why not????? .
.
.
@inspirational_u are passionate about healthy relationships and empowered communities. If we are happy personally, then this reflects on other parts of our life from our health, children, work or business.

.
We will return in a month and hope you can join us.

On Tuesday 26th March we organised our third girls teen talk at the House of Commons as part of International Women’s Month #IWD. Our aim was to inspire and empower #teenagegirls via powerful women who read letters to their 15 year old self.
