Throwback to 5 years ago sitting on the back of a truck back to back with my opponent waving to the crowds on my way to fight in the stadium to the sound of "Tonight, tonight, the BEST fighters on the Island live at Phetchbuncha Stadium!" Good times 👊

Nature is our greatest healer...
Many times in Thailand I would take a little trip alone after a fight to sit with my emotions and clear my head. I was blessed having the most beautiful and quiet landscapes to hand just a boat/coach ride away. It was challenging sometimes to be with my own thoughts but breathing beside nature always helped.
It's so important for our mental health as humans to get outside and be with the infinite wisdom that is nature and just breathe. Even if just 5 minutes a day 😊🫶✨
Fave spot is Tiger Cave Temple Krabi. 1260 (steep)steps but totally worth it 💫

When the time is right the right teachers will step forward... 💫✨

Sometimes it doesn't matter how much you want to learn/ practice something you love, your head just is not in the right space.

When it comes to healing yourself after trauma (grief, accident, traumatic experience) it's a one day at a time process with good days and bad days. The key is to be kind to yourself and give yourself time. It will feel so good when you come back to what you love or find a new hobby or interest that sets your soul on fire. You might find that by giving your trauma the time and space it needs to heal, new opportunities, people, and teachers come forward.

Lucky for me that's what's happening. Really appreciate that I have not just one but two amazing teachers (Kru) guiding me on the next part of my Muai Thai journey ... Thank you @benfleet_muaythai_gym @frankieboynorton 🙏🙏👊👊

It's your choice to live your life in joy and happiness! No one else has ownership of that. No one else has the right to tell you they build you/made you/ that you are their work... it's all you baby!!! Your choices (sometimes may be tough), your happiness, your joy, your journey. Your LIFE! Have a colorful one 😘

💫FOCUS 💫
Life is too short to focus on anything else but your goals 👊

Fundamentally we are here alone. We arrive here alone and exit alone with challenges along the way. Same as in the ring. Engaging in combat is the ultimate measure of keeping your cool whilst being under stress. Even though your coaches are there in your corner, you stand toe to toe alone. If you don't channel your focus on your game plan, you will loose and end up playing the other person's game. Your game, your focus, your determination gets you to your life goals 👊

One way to boost your immune system this year is by having an ice cold shower in the morning when you wake up. I have done this without fail since September and have not been sick once even with my little girl picking up all sorts of bugs from nursery all the time. Over Christmas everyone in my family had caught something and my immune system has stayed strong. I will admit when I started this morning ritual I hated every second and could only do 1 minute (not fully submerged) but the feelings I felt afterwards gave me the motivation to keep doing it...
1. Feeling so awake and full of energy and not desperate for coffee to wake me
2. Feeling like I can tackle anything during my day after putting myself through that
3. My skin feels amazing! Great if you have eczema or similar as it completely reduces inflammation
4. No colds/ illness - WINNING!

I challenge you to do this every day for 3 months and report back! Who's in? 🚿❄️
