Words? I can’t. I can’t BEGIN to get all the feelings of our @intrustedcompany event into a caption. It was everything. I met so many folks I’ve admired for so long. People pressed their hands into mine, saying, “This is everything I’ve always wanted out of networking”. I got *the best freaking compliments* on my stage presence (which was a lot of me having loose notes and then grabbing the mic and speaking from the heart because I got too nervous trying to read off a card), I wore heels and got dressed up which felt SO GOOD, I was drawn into a dance circle with my people and cried tears of joy, the @solageauberge crew demonstrated hospitality us at an inspiring level, I stayed up all night by the fire chatting, the food was incredible, the talks were inspiring, the feedback was thoughtful, the details were stunning.,

I’m SO PROUD to be the Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging for In Trusted Company. I’m so happy to create things that matter. I love us.

(Disclaimer: despite being a professional photographer, I took photos like someone’s grandma. I went to look back over everything on the plane and was like "My goodness." We had an incredible content creation team, and I'll share real pics later!)

Feeling so enlightened after my week in Calistoga with @intrustedcompany. It was so refreshing to connect with others in our industry, and wild to finally meet people I’ve been working with for years. But my stationery friends really showed up! Proving that community outweighs competition and that we can support each other in a way that only we understand. So grateful for the long chats and endless laughs with these brilliant women.

What an incredible week in the Napa valley capturing all the magic at @intrustedcompany at Solage! I had an amazing time getting to connect and reconnect with so many amazing industry friends and it was a joy to capture it all!

Lots more coming soon from their official account, but I wanted to share a few highlight moments and give a shout out to the amazing media team I had the honor of being part of! Thank you @kelseycowley for being the most amazing teammate this week, I always love having you shoot alongside me! And it was wonderful to meet @roaming.social from @ivysocial.co as well as @duneweddings who captured all the amazing video this week! Plus @sar_schreiber who was at the helm of the ITC account all week!

And the biggest thank you to @vanessanoelevents who I’ve long admired and created the most amazing magic through her designs this week, bringing us all together and along with the ITC team, fostering amazing connections and warmth! Vanessa you are a powerhouse and it’s an honor to photograph your designs.

At ITC, we believe that moments of true celebration remind us how seen and valued we are. They go beyond grand gestures—they’re about connection and the feeling that someone knows exactly what makes us feel special. Our team aims to make ITC a place where you experience the beauty of being celebrated and even the small moments of joy and acknowledgment stay with you forever. We’d love to hear your stories in the comments!

As you follow the women entrepreneurs in my 6th Annual Creative Leaders Series, I want you to consider how this impacts you.

Have you considered this? The value you bring to the world determines the quality of your life and your income. In other words, the value you deliver to clients, customers and patients, has a direct effect on the amount of money you create. That is profound.

These creative women are bringing value to the world by what they are doing, through their passions, their zone of genius, and their beliefs.

I want you to think of a bold – yet to be achieved money goal – stretch out of your comfort zone– let’s say it’s $300K or $500K or how about $1 million?

Don’t choose a number based on your past – choose an amount that is your future self – future focused not past focused (that is your brain in survival mode that it is wired to do) instead begin thinking from your future self – possibility.

Have that amount? Now ask yourself – what value can you offer for that amount of money? Meaning how do you uplift humanity by your talents, passion, focus?

It doesn’t matter if you are service based, product based, in network marketing, direct selling, whatever you do. There is a VALUE you give in exchange for being paid.

For example, I bring value in the world by creating opportunities, ideas, and teaching NEW sustainable belief strategies (mindset) that help people win in life and create exciting results!

Let’s explore your value to upgrade your income. Fill out my short intro form (link in my bio) and we’ll get you scheduled for a heart-to-heart chat.

In gratitude,
Marla

It's week 2 of my Creative Leaders Series featuring five stellar women entrepreneurs. Today we celebrate Sophia Otasowie.
@sophscriptco

Wherever you see Sophia’s marketing assets for her wedding and lifestyle event calligraphy business, SophScript Co., you will notice a delicately drawn lemon sketched in black positioned behind the capital letter S.

Why the lemon? She loves the color yellow. It represents joy, happiness, beauty, innocence and, of course, sunshine to her.

When you meet her and stand in her presence, you will experience all of those through her essence and the way she talks, laughs, and listens. Just be on the receiving end of that bright thousand-watt smile and you will know what I mean.

A lemon also tastes and smells refreshing to her as it lifts the flavor of everything it touches. Yes, lemons are a great metaphor for what Sophia brings to life and her calligraphy clients.

Her core branding message for her business is, “because you deserve to be seen, heard and celebrated without limit.” And so, it is. For her full story and successes, please go to the link in my bio or copy and paste this link. https://marladiann.com/lemons-calligraphy-and-bringing-joy-to-peoples-lives/.
