When the storms of life hit, finding the smallest reasons to smile and celebrate being alive is key.

fr though…somatic movement is where it’s at when facing something traumatic.

strangely…I’m going through things that are bringing up familiar heaviness I haven’t felt in my body since I was a kid…

And I realized yesterday that kid me didn’t have the tools I have today.

Kid me didn’t time how to use her breath as medicine.

Kid me didn’t have nature allies

Kid me didn’t know emotion is energy-in-motion and that movement is medicinal.

So I’m using this as an opportunity to show her everything I’ve learned and helping her resolve all she went through.

And simultaneously, teaching my kids because they’re watching their mom break down but stand back up again, with faith and optimism.

I might not know the direct lessons, gifts and evolution that will come from this, but

I’ll maximize each day, every wave of sorrow, and process them like the Alchemist I’ve become 🔥

(Link/more info in bio)

Never in my life did I think I’d have to make a post like this 😭😭

I am in absolute shock, I feel like someone punched me in the gut, and like I’m living in a horrible nightmare.

Tuesday I got some of the worst news possible and I really need help.

I can’t share details, because honestly I know next to nothing about what happened as it is all still unfolding.

But my family is hurting, my kids don’t have their papi, and we are praying that this somehow, some way, works out for the highest good of all involved, on all sides.

Please, if Shawal has ever impacted you in a positive way, will you please do one or all of the following

(my kids futures are hanging in the balance)

- Share this with ppl you know, on your page or story.
- Give ANYTHING if you can
-And if you know Shawal personally please leave a comment of encouragement for us, for him, about the amazing man and father he is.

I’ve spent the last 12 years straight with him, and he is my best friend.

He’s all I got, my parents and grandparents are gone 😭😭

He has the biggest heart of anyone I’ve ever known and it’s why I fell in love with him.

He loves everyone, even those who operate as enemies.

Hes a DEVOTED father, and has committed his whole life to being present with his kids and setting a good example for them.

He is my HERO.

Our babies are just 10/8/6/1 and they NEED their father in their lives.

Our 6yo is special needs, he is her BFF and she’s been so emotional over him not being here and it’s been just two days.

I am honestly, not okay.
I am pulling it together and using the tools I have to be strong for my kids.

Our baby is starting to take her first steps and her papi is not here to see them 😭😭

I don’t have family or a village it’s just me and Shawal.

I will share more when I can.

Send positive thoughts prayers or whatever you do, and thank you 🫶🏽
