@hell_simulation x @distorteddreamdevices

If you have seen Primitive Man live since March, then you heard the Caustic Dis/troyer!!!

The Caustic Dis/troyer is an artistic and tonal collaboration between Distorted Dream Devices and Ethan Lee McCarthy of Primitive Man, Vermin Wound and Many Blessings. When Ethan reached out, we discussed an early band of his and how he wanted a bit of that tone in his sound. Fortunately, I practiced across the hall from that band in a building that once served as an olympic athletic club boxing gym, so I remembered the tone well. Somewhere between metal and sludge, the CD lives on the edge of unhinged and embraces feedback as part of the wall of sound it creates. Best for downtuned baritone and bass guitars The “Yellow Dog” variant is the staple but keep an eye out for limited edition art by Ethan for the upcoming tour!

AVAILABLE NOV 1 AT 9AM MTN TIME. NO PRESALE NO MASTERS

@sound_fare shaking the foundations of the earth with our Swamp Lord fuzz!!

Since I’ve posted about my new beta mini amp loads of you ppl asked and told me about their experience so far with it. The most common topic by far was the volume which results in the question that all the ppl thinking about getting one have:
Is the @sunn_amps Beta Mini loud enough?

Yesterday I took the Beta Mini to the rehearsal space and put it to the test. We’re a 4 piece stoner doom band (2 guitars, bass, drums) just to put this into context.

Was it loud enough? Definitely - FOR US. I’d say were limited with insane amounts of volume because our roomround is kinda hard to control in louder settings. I had to almost crank it into my orange fullstack. And here’s the thing: I play into 2x 412 16 ohm cabs. This amp reaches its full volume potential at 4/8 ohms. Therefore I really need to point out that it was enough under „my personal circumstances“.
I can imagine having a hard time in some venues on stage BUT since I had no live gig with it yet, I want you to understand this as a presumption. If you already had some experience pls let us know in the comments!!

Does it take pedals well?
I simply replaced my @orangeamplifiers OR30 with the Beta Mini and I gotta say it takes my board with the fx and all that DAMN well. So well I seriously think about having it as my main amp. I kid you not.

Does it compete with the vintage Beta Lead?
That I have to find out maybe next time. I also have the og beta lead in our rehearsal room so I will compare them back to back soon.

May I officially present you...The ARCANIST.
The most polyvalent muff type distortion I could come up with. Partly redesigned, partly modded, partly augmented and rebiased from the OG circuit.
It can do virtually everything thanks to 2 external switches and 6 internal ones. Think of it as a laboratory, not as a pedal.

Release date April 5th

SWAMPLORD IS NOW IN PRE-SALE !!!
Forged from the roar of the Matamp GT120, the Swamplord rises with grinding, swamp-born heaviness and a wall of sound built for true doom.

It moves from thick, dragging saturation to sharp mids that cut like an Axe, or low-end growl that hunts in the mud like a Hunter.

Push the circuit deeper and the Tormentor within wakes — saturating your riffs until they feel carved from stone.

Enter the Battle and shape your presence with precision, from hawk-like clarity to earth-shifting weight.

Inspired by the sonic worlds of Conan, Sleep, Windhand and Bongzilla, it channels that same colossal atmosphere with 18V of internal headroom to keep everything heavy and controlled.

Claim it before the swamp closes and the beast sinks below.
