Today it was a pleasure to host a conversation between @sheffieldhospitals and @arthritisuk (who now have a #Sheffield base!)

A great conversation on #MSK and opportunities to work closer together on services, research and #healthinequalities and linking to @southyorksmca objectives around health and work and healthiest region in the country!

A little change to the reviews we normally post and this one really shows the impact that @southyorksmca funding has on #southyorkshire residents.

“It’s about how we work together” 🤝

It was great to be joined by Kilvinder Vigurs, Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime for South Yorkshire (@southyorksmca), at the roundtable launch of our latest #WomanoftheNorth report.

History has been made. For the first time in 20 years, a trade union voice has been included within a UK international trade mission, as part of the Great North mayoral delegation to India.

With over 50 million workers represented around the table today, ground-breaking conversations with our regional mayors made one thing clear: the success of trade and investment relationships between India and the North is dependant upon the interests of working people being at the heart of them.

Fantastic to see the mayors commit to continuing to build links with Indian trade unions as business relationships develop.

Thank you to everyone involved today, especially our friends at ITUC - Asia Pacific for their support in making this meeting happen.

Celebrating Sheffield Supertram 🚉🚋

For over 30 years, @sy_supertram has helped keep the city connected, linking neighbourhoods across the city and making it easier to get around.

Today, the network serves 51 stops across four routes, including connections between Sheffield and Rotherham, helping residents and visitors travel across the region.

All trams and tram stops provide step-free level access, with dedicated onboard spaces available for wheelchair and scooter users to travel safely and comfortably.

For up-to-date travel info, service updates and journey planning tools, head to the Travel South Yorkshire website.

I'm still reflecting and taking in the Art Trail by Rail which took place less than 2 weeks ago. I'm so grateful for the opportunity through @hopevalleyclimateaction to organise this festival for its second year. Many to do lists, numerous meetups, lots of trips to Whaley Bridge to collect and then distribute posters and booklets, many emails to artists and together, we pulled it off!

On 26-27th September we had over 1,000 visits across the 14 venues and over three quarters of them travelled by sustainable means. It worked!

Thank you for @tpexpresstrains and @peakdistrictbytrain for funding this festival.

Thank you to @peartreegiftandprint in Whaley Bridge for printing all of our promotional materials.

Thank you to our venue coordinators who volunteered their time to support the festival and make sure everything ran smoothly across the trail.

Thank you to all of the artists who took part! We had double the numbers since our first festival last year. It's great to see so much local talent in one place.

Thank you to the @theanglersrestbamford for hosting our pop-up exhibition (pic 4 - up until 11th Oct!)

Thank you to all our volunteers, new and old who helped out by giving directions at stations, welcoming visitors and serving refreshments.

Thank you to our musicians who travelled along the train and provided quality entertainment.

A special thanks to my mum who looked after my own stall as I checked the venues across the weekend!

Thank you to my friends, family and especially my partner for all chipping in and supporting me in the run up and over the weekend.

What a blast! I look forward to seeing you next year!

Came to Nottingham three years ago with no team, just my pal @chloeshepherd who brought me into this game right at the beginning of the Active Lives project in @southyorksmca with Mayor @olivercoppard

So good to return today - this time with a chunk of our South Yorkshire team, and plenty of colleagues and friends from across the region.

Big thanks to @nottscountycouncil for the tour 🚶🚶‍♀️🚴🚴‍♀️ 🙏
