Created in collaboration with @sowulo.music , this hoodie brings the words of Wyrd Webba, a song from Sowulo’s Wurdiz album written in Anglo-Saxon runes, into a design inspired by ancient symbolism.

I am the warp · You are the weft
I am fate · You are the weaver

These words speak of destiny not as something fixed, but as something shaped. Fate sets the threads, but you are called to weave them.

The hoodie also features a stylized Irminsul motif, representing resilience and spiritual grounding, seamlessly integrated with concentric cloisonné patterns reminiscent of the Kingston Brooch’s gold, garnet and glass inlays.

Flashback Friday: Castlefest 2026
There were several celebrations at Castlefest 2026 - and one of them was Sowulo celebrating the 10th anniversary of their album Sol. To recreate the atmosphere, they invited support, e.g. by former band member Koen van Egmond (whom many of you may also know from SeeD Pagan Folk).

The result was an inspiring performance, and I sure got the impression that Sol was smiling on them in more ways than one...

From my hands to his… From Switzerland to the forests of Sweden. 🇨🇭🇸🇪

Some creations hold a special place in the heart of the one who shapes them.

This handcrafted drum, made especially for Faber @faber.horbach of Sowulo @sowulo.music , is one of them.

From preparing the natural hide to the final lacing, every step was guided by patience, care and intention.

After weeks of work and a long journey across Europe, this drum has finally reached the hands it was meant for.

Knowing that its sound now resonates in Faber's hands is something truly special to me. 🖤

Thank you, Faber, for your trust and for this beautiful human and musical adventure.

May its sound accompany the paths still to come. 🌿

De mes mains aux siennes… De la Suisse aux forêts de Suède. 🇨🇭🇸🇪

Il y a des créations qui prennent une place particulière dans le cœur de celui qui les façonne.

Ce tambour, entièrement réalisé à la main pour Faber @faber.horbach de Sowulo @sowulo.music, en fait partie.

Du travail de la peau aux derniers laçages, chaque geste a été accompli avec patience, attention et intention.

Après plusieurs semaines de création et un long voyage à travers l'Europe, ce tambour a enfin rejoint celui pour qui il était destiné.

Savoir aujourd'hui que sa vibration résonne entre les mains de Faber me procure une émotion difficile à décrire. 🖤

Merci Faber pour ta confiance et pour cette magnifique aventure humaine et musicale.

De eerste paar weken studeren in Oslo… Weinig studeren, veel ‘heritagemaxxing’ (credits aan @ansugastiz voor die cursed term). Daarnaast veel live muziek, natuur, volkscultuur, niche festivals, runeninscripties en natuurlijk een flinke dosis Vikingen.

Supertof om nu omringd te zijn door, en eropuit te gaan met, mensen die daar net zo enthousiast over zijn 🤩.

Summer went by way too fast 🥹☀️

I spent a good chunk of it glued to my laptop, editing content and filling out excel sheets (too boring to include all those pictures in my post haha), but I also got to record some music (more on that soon!!!), work with some really amazing people, and spend time with friends, both in real life and online.

Some things still need to remain a secret, but I'm very grateful for every single sunny day and honestly just way too excited for autumn and everything that's ahead 🫶🏻
