August is always a special month.
And this month has been of a lot of movement.
I experienced stunning sunrises and sunsets, and I was teaching yoga in a whole beautiful adventure.

I have been working very mindfully and putting my heart in the Ashtanga program, and this is something that keep me learning everyday.

August is the month to celebrate another year of life and I always like to look at everything I have gotten during the last 12 months, friends, opportunities, knowledge, happiness and this fire inside me to keep going and doing what I love.

In this month of birthday there are few things that I have experienced and remembered:

1. Entrepreneurship is in my blood. Since I am very young I have been inclined to education, helping and building projects, programs. This I could call it the fire inside me. But it comes with its challenges. This months I have been doing a lot of introspection about my way of living, and how I want to live the way I create my entrepreneurial life. It is exciting, but I have to accept it can also be very demanding and I am learning to stop and go slower.

2. My yoga practice has become my anchor. I always talk about how yoga has changed my life and how important it is to me to share that with students. But, it doesn’t mean I have everything figured out, most of the time I feel I know nothing 😅. I guess, this feeling is what keeps me curious.

I have experienced the need of space, silence, when I overflowed my calendar with things to do. This journey of being present is always on learning mode.
and also I felt immense love for people around me, I have focus a lot on friendships the last years and I can see how a solid network can impact my mental health.

My main discovery this year has been
“I have the responsibility of choosing ”

- friends
- priorities
- my way of living
- my way of teaching
-how I decide to build my programs

My still learning are:
- don’t overflow my calendar 🥲
- Focus on less things, I am learning that if I want to make things better I need more focus in the important things.

What advice would you give me for those two?
