I'll be showing a few pieces along with the other members of Spacecraft Studios down at The Gaff this Thursday, including a few smaller pieces for sale. Please drop by to check out our work, have a chat, and maybe make off with some absolutely class art.

This week I hosted a professional development workshop for fellow Spacecraft Studios members at Limerick Printmakers

The workshop focused on mono screenprinting and paper stencil screenprinting, exploring simple, accessible approaches to printmaking that don’t require lots of specialist equipment and can be easily adapted or recreated at home

The session gave members the opportunity to explore both techniques through hands-on making, while introducing approaches that can be continued and experimented with beyond the print studio

It was great to share these methods with the group and see everyone’s different approaches to the processes

Making art often happens alone in the studio

That's why gatherings like Supermarket feel so important, they offer a chance to step outside your own practice and reconnect with a wider community of artists, makers, curators, and thinkers.

Feeling inspired by the work I encountered and grateful for the conversations that came with it 🥰💕

Fairies and the otherworld are embedded in Irish mythological culture, with respect for the Gentle Folk, their sacred bushes and ring forts still being very much alive today. Risking upsetting the fairy folk is not advised! #protectthefairies @cnocbuiarts @theirishpalette

Bealtaine 1st May with @luna.limerick my "Altar to the Aos Sí" was at the @huntmuseum, a fairy blessing ritual as seen at @supermarketart. Also, don't you just love the handmade flower hairband, and the wonderful offerings? ❤️
