Wedding DJ Entertainment Collective + HYBRID EXPERIENCE + LIVE MUSICIANS • CHI | National | International ✈️ owned by @djdjones

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It started with listening.

Lauren and Sam came to me with a love of music, a connection to their city, and a vision for a celebration that felt unmistakably theirs. They described it as “a true love letter to Chicago.”

My role was to turn those conversations into something they could see, feel, and eventually experience with their favorite people.

I used AI visuals in their proposal to make the concepts tangible. We could explore the atmosphere, talk through the possibilities, and shape the details together. You’ll see those original concepts in this carousel, followed by real footage of what we delivered.

Cocktails before the ceremony. Their music performed by a live string quartet. Chicago blues during dinner. A surprise dance performance that invited everyone into the celebration.

Each chapter had a purpose.

I developed the creative direction and entertainment plan, then worked with their planner and our DJs, musicians, dancers, and production team to bring it all together.

Afterward, Lauren wrote:
“We were absolutely heard at every planning session”

That means so much to me. Before any of the ideas could come to life, they needed to feel understood.

Thank you, Lauren and Sam, for trusting me with your Sweet Home Chicago.

Swipe through the journey. Turn the sound on for the moments we brought to life.

98 SONGS. THREE HOURS. ZERO BREAKS.

Last Saturday, Rich Rockstars + Friends took over RPM Events on the Chicago River, and the entire night was electric.

@perrydontae and @djdjones delivered a three hour, continuous, high energy set created entirely in real time. No prerecorded show. No predictable formula. Just elite mixing, incredible live drumming, and the freedom to take the celebration wherever the room wanted to go.

People always ask us, “What do you play?”

The answer is simple: anything that makes people dance and gives them a great time.

We moved through more than 98 songs and a little bit of everything, building one nonstop experience from beginning to end. And when Rich Rockstars invites friends, we bring the best of the best. MJ joined us on electric guitar, while Jacob took the saxophone into the crowd and became part of the party.

This reel features the real audio from the night, so turn the volume all the way up. You’re hearing the actual songs, musicianship, and energy exactly as the room experienced it.

One of one. Built in the moment. Played for the people in front of us.

Tom and Olivia, thank you for trusting us with your celebration. Congratulations again. What a night 🔥🔥🔥

RICH ROCKSTARS + FRIENDS.

Before the couple enters, the room has to be ready.

This is the part of being an MC that people don’t always see—reading the crowd, breaking the ice, turning guests into participants, and building the energy before the big introduction.

I love an East Coast–style wedding with a mini dance set before dinner. It gets everyone on the dance floor, creates an immediate sense of celebration, and sets the tone for the rest of the night.

By the time Bryan and Elliot entered the room, their celebration was already in motion.

A great entrance isn’t simply announced. It’s set up.

EXPERIENCE DELIVERED.

THE VIEW FROM UP HERE.

What. A. Night.

Different city. Different stage. Different crowd.

One consistent result.

We delivered an incredible celebrations in Indianapolis with the kind of energy you can’t manufacture.

@djdjones @perrydontae . Our guys MJ on guitar and Nick on sax.

And a crowd that simply WOULD. NOT. STOP.

For more than two hours, the energy never let up.

This time, we’re taking you on stage with us.

No soundtrack. No narration. Just the real thing.

Consistent results. That’s the value.

Summer, you were good to us.

WORTH THE FLIGHT.

Miami, you gave me a reason to bring a little extra.

Burgundy double breasted suit. Free flowing shawl. Left the button down at home and let the gold chains have their moment. 😂

Last night at @thebathclub_ , I had the pleasure of celebrating REBORN with @dj_malike_ and his @curate_entertainment family along with @chrisweinbergevents & @petalprod Incredible company, beautiful surroundings, and so much creativity in one room. Loved being there to celebrate and take it all in.

And getting in front of the lens with @themonochromaticexperience ? A highlight all its own. One of the best in the business, and these photos speak for themselves.

To all of the the teams that collaborated to make this night happen, thank you for a night worth showing up for.

Flight booked. Look delivered. Memories made.
